Mega Dart Refill Pack for N-Strike Mega Series

These are great, even if you throw it with your hand it makes that distinct sound through the air. These have been having a lot of fun for the kids. They aren’t very fast but that is more due to our nerf gun than the bullet.

Just what we ordered, they work great.

I needed a reason to bombard children as they return from a long day at school. Alas, I’ve got it. I found a mega nerf gun for a whopping $2 at a yard sale and only needed bullets to fill it’s 24 holes for maximum effort. I found these, amazing price for the amount you get, and the wait to receive them was the only thing saving the little naive souls, who have no idea what’s coming. Finally the day has come, I received them super fast in the mail and it was a perfect day, I loaded my weapon of choice, my pockets, and off we went to stake out for the bus to drop them off. 6 children got off the bus and off I went in a full blown attack! The bullets flew far and wide and the unsuspecting children yelled and ran. Success. I’ve won. And at a great price I’ll continue to do it again and again.

Let me start off by saying for the price, these off-brand nerf darts are a no brainer. They are so inexpensive, that it's worth the risk that half of them may not work. I have been pleased. 1) Out of the 120 units shot on the first few days of owning them, in some epic nerf battles with my kids, about 20 of them have failed, with the heads (tips and mounts) either popping completely off the nerf portion, or just the tips popping off. The latter is easy to fix, by just pushing the top over the clear mount till it pops in place (See second image, with the top off, the nerf portion with the mount installed, and a repaired unit). The entire head (mount and tip) popping off will take some glue to repair. The arrows shoot straight as, if not more straight than the nerf branded ones. The arrows have some solid hits when making contact with skin. I'd advise for safety glasses with little ones if you want their eyes intact after battling with these guys. Given the price, 4/5 being useful is a good return on investment given the price paid compared to brand-name stock. Especially given I can repair most of the damaged items with little or no glue. I attached a comparison of the original branded nerf dart tip w/ mount to this unit. The original tip is softer, with a white mount that is not as deep as this one.

So apparently, the mega Nerf guns need mega darts. News to me... so I picked these up for my youth group's Nerf War. These darts were amazing. With teens, they are not always the most kind to things. Even with rough teenagers, I only had a couple darts fall apart. They have withstood multiple wars already. By far, the best part is the whistle. When the darts are fired, it makes a whistle sound. It is so cool when in the middle of a war to hear whistle sounds as you are firing darts. The teens loved that part of the darts. These pack is perfect for all of your Mega Nerf gun needs.

Little details if you manage to see these in stock, from another satisfied customer. I bought these in preperation for a nerf war hosted by me, and luckily Little Valentine have met my standards nicely. -Darts smell like nail polish out of the box, which is weird, but it is the glue they use to glue the tips. -These darts scream more than the official brand, I like that. -Same distance and foam quality as the official brand, great! -Tips, if shot at a hard surface, may bend a little bit. This can lead to the tips falling off, but from my sample size and half an hour of Centurion shots, nothing like that has happened yet. -Compatible with the Buzz Bee Boss and Buzz Bee Tyrant (both gun and magazines). Definitely will buy again if available next time I need them!
