Great at drowning out background noise and provides a crisp sound. Easy set up and perfect size for office at home.

So clean. Hardly picks up any background noise. That which it does is very easy to edit out. How far I could clean up recordings with other mics is this mic’s starting point.

I have several mics, notably the SM58, MXL v88, a Blue Yeti, and a cheap Behringer. My friend and I run a podcast centered around Autism. We are both autistic and we speak about life, issues, and everything else surrounding Neurodivergencies.We also speak to people all over the world, with guests like Temple Grandin.Anyway...We wanted to upgrade our setup with mics that have a good "podcast" sound while looking great. We were using mismatched mics, with me on the V88 and him on the sm58.I setup the two MV7X this weekend, and the difference is extraordinary. Both of these mics are much less likely to pick up room noise or pick up voices from other users. The sound feels more rich and full before I even do any post-processing.With minimal processing, I was able to get them to sound EVEN BETTER. They sound great without any processing, but with a little tweaking, they sound similar to an SM7B.The only downside is they do require a good amount of gain and even with the gain at a decent setting you'll have to boost it in post. They don't require any phantom power or preamp.Great buy!

For the price these are actually some really good microphones. If you do not have a large budget for creating a podcast. I highly recommend these microphones. They get the job done with satifactory quality for the listener.

Wonderful quality and have had it for years. I would recommend it to friends as well. It was easy to set up and I use it with my sound board. The volume of output is great and sounds great on the other end.

Been trying to find the correct choice between this and the Blue Sona Logitech. I originally went with the Blue sona because it looked cool and there were claims it had better sound rejection then the SM7b....Welp I can say in fact it doesnt. because recording on a one to one comparative track and it had little to the same sound rejection as my AT2020!!! So i couldnt rightfully keep it at its price tag of 300 dollars!!!I finally decided to give the mv7x a try. At its price tag if it was only a little better then the AT2020 it would be justified....Welp it I can say out of the two (blue sona vs the MV7X) it has amazing noise rejection!!! I have like five fans going all at once in my bed room and I can barely hear them in it! this was exactly what I needed for good tone and good noise rejection!!!I am very very very happy with this mic!!!Edit: I returned it for the mv7+. Why? The mv7x still sounded great but I made the decision to do a duel pc set up and the really cool thing about the mv7+ is you can output through xlr and usb at the same time.I still highly recommend the MV7x its a steal at its price. But if you think you might want to do a dual PC setup for streaming the MV7x is perfect for dual output.

Le rendu est chaud, naturel et parfaitement équilibré, idéal pour les podcasts, les streams ou les enregistrements vocaux.La fabrication est solide, typique de Shure : c’est du matériel conçu pour durer. Le design est sobre, élégant et s’intègre très bien sur un bras de micro.Même sans traitement audio, le son est déjà excellent — on sent vraiment la différence par rapport à des micros grand public.Branché sur une interface audio, le résultat est tout simplement professionnel.Je recommande ce micro les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui veulent passer un vrai cap dans la qualité de leur son ! 🎙️

Lo agarre en promoción y no me arrepiento, es una chulada de micrófono. He grabado en habitaciones con mala acústica y si se escuha mejor, conparado con otros microfonos. La voz se escucha más nitida, y no mete tanto popeo como otros. Esperare a que vuelva a estar a mitad de precio para conprarme otro.

I have a shure SM7b also and it needs preamp also but this microphone doesn’t need anything additional and sound 99% the same as SM7b. So glad purchased this.
