I had a face and neck lift, and had to wear this 8 hours per day for 30 days after the surgery.At the surgeon's office they gave me an ACE bandage to wrap around my head, but it kept slipping. I bought this and my surgeon approved it. It stays put.While I am giving this 5 stars because it did the job, I am not going to claim that it isn't a torture device, because it is. I hated wearing this. However, I hated wearing the ACE wrap even more, because it slid around so much that I couldn't do normal activities. My surgeon told me that almost all the other head / neck wraps one can order are not really acceptable, so if you are looking at other options for post op, do check with your surgeon 1st. Because this stayed in place better than the ACE wrap, I was able to do more to distract myself, which helped pass the time until my 8 hours was up and I could remove it.Another upside of this for me is that I have a large head, made bigger by surgical swelling, and it fit.The biggest down side when I 1st got this, was that it was too itchy and irritating under my chin. I cut the cuff off of a fuzzy sock, fed it onto the loop of this bandage, and positioned it where my chin rests. That made it comfortable.I think that I would have struggled a lot more in my 1st post-op month if I had not found this item.

WISH I HAD KNOWN THIS BEFORE MY SURGERY!!! If you want to LOSE YOUR HAIR buy this garbage. If your hair touches the Velcro you will have to cut it off with scissors because you cannot get it off. This is the worst product I have ever come across on Amazon by far. This support band is flimsy and cheaply made. It does NOTHING. There is only ONE STRAP, not two as shows in the post!! It’s a $5 product sold for almost $30. The Velcro will TEAR YOUR HAIR OUT!! The strap sent doesn’t match the picture on the package it came in. This is just another money grab scam! This whole thing is extremely upsetting I just had surgery three days ago and don’t need to worry about massive chunks of my hair being torn out because it sticks to the Velcro. I am so incredibly upset about this in addition to having to recuperate and now by a different strap post surgery. Reached out to Seller - No response. BAD PRODUCT. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This mask is much more comfortable, it stays on, and it’s Super easy to put on and take off.

I tried a few compression methods this one is a good option for those who need or want to wear it during the day for a few hours after facial surgery. Comfortable and adjustable

I’m on Day 8 of my neck lift & this has been a life saver. After 2 days I switched to this compression garment. The garment from the surgeon’s office was of high quality but it has a big, thick bulky seam running right under my chin that was so irritating. This garment is tight enough, seamless & does a great job & I’m healing so well.

I ordered this because I have a large head and all the models on other products are exclusively female with small-looking heads. First--this works for large heads. Second--the velcro strip that makes sure it doesn't fall off the back of your head is flimsy beyond belief. The tension necessary for the purpose anyone would buy this requires that the main bandage (chin/skull) be balanced by at least the rear bandage that wraps around the base of your skull. I will have to buy a piece of elastic at a fabric shop and additional velcro to make sure the item doesn't fall apart in under a month. While I would not recommend this to anyone not in DIRE NEED of compression in this rare area, it fits larger heads--my head measures around 23 1/2" circumference. Having said that, 23 1/2" circumference, while large, is by no means the largest a head could get. Do not buy this if your head circumference is substantially larger. The price? Obscene.

This is not lined with cotton. The straps are completely in the wrong place not at all as seen on the picture. Why they weren’t separate is beyond me. I had neck surgery so the back straps hit some of the stitches on the below the back of my ears. We played around with it so many ways and every time you undo it, the Velcro rips the fabric. Eventually we cut one strap off as it was so ripped up we figured we wouldn’t be able to return it. Don’t waste your money. Complete waste of money!
