How on earth do you extend the mop! I cannot see any way to extend it! Without extending it is too short.

You cannot extend the length it is what it is I cannot see it being to short I am 5ft 7ins and it plenty long enough for me in fact I would say its the same length as my sweeping brush perhaps you have a piece missing
