I love how these two authors put their world building and character backgrounds into a cute prequel. I love Delores "DD" . She is smart and strong with all that she's been through already. This prequel opens her eyes to how naive she's been to some things around her and I can't wait to see her grow more through the series. I love that her animal who she assumes would be a predator turns out to be a prey animal that has no defense so that it seems she'll have to learn to outwit others to survive. Of course it seems like she'll also have five sexy shifters to help. I can't wait to dive into this series

I was not prepared to love this as much as I did! It's technically a prequel so we get a bunch of background on the characters, world etc... but it all sets up the story perfectly. There is a good amount of stuff that happens here, it is so much more than just a prequel.The concept behind the predator vs prey is fun and different. These ladies did an amazing job at worldbuilding. There's angst, feisty characters, mean girls, hot teachers, *can I enroll?*There's some delicious M/M action early on, but the heat between DD and the guys is just starting to simmer- you can tell it's going to be spicy in the future. There are so many funny puns which made me laugh. It's not all fluffy with rainbows and unicorns all around, but the way it was written gives enough humor to keep it from getting too dark.I fell in love with these characters, and I can't wait to see where they go from here! If you are looking for a great new paranormal book, I absolutely recommend it!

Have to agree the book got super cheesy with all the puns. Don’t get me wrong I love a good pun but after awhile it’s such overkill for this reason I felt myself trying to get through this book as fast as I could.

This is a prequel story and they do recommend reading it first. Mainly setup for what’s to come but there’s still some hot action (M/M). It’s not super fun because there’s betrayal and her parents are terrible but I can tell it will set up the series nicely and I’m very excited to get some more time with these hot shifters. I am ready for some major revenge and some very steamy scenes. Who doesn’t love hot professors, shifters, and a revenge plan?

This was an interesting take on shifters. This Preyquel definitely has intrigued me and I'll definitely be reading the next book. I really hope DD gets her revenge and the seriously hot shifter guys. The Heather's and Todd definitely deserve to be taken down, and her parents are just as terrible.

This prequel was awesome. I'm loving the characters and can't wait to get to know them even more. DD is fragile but I can see with some help she's going to be fierce. I'm looking forward to seeing how she fits within Apex.

Okay so I enjoyed this prequel. I’m sad the first full book isn’t out till April lolI’m already envisioning where this is headed and I’m loving itI like Delores but I’m sad she’s a 🐰 I’mKinda hoping either she has razor teeth to eff stuff up or maybe she’s a double shifter with predator and prey and can do both. I’ve not seen that before and it would be awesome!

So I am major biased because i LOVE C.Rochelle. I am super stoked about this plot line.... usually the plots are soooo similar to other books and it just gets boring. Well I will say these 2 authors have thrown us a FRESH AF Plot, a girl just about to find out what shes made of, and deliciously sexy men that share in all the right ways !!! YAASSSS GIVE ME THE NEXT BOOK PLEEAASEEE

Love the shifter trope and this book offers a different twist to the norm. Love the thought of predators having a bunny as a daughter and being horrified, the predators and prey shifters are poles,es apart and love the interactions Delores our FMC has with everyone. So happy for her that the Romulus pack of misfit predators see her worth and welcome her. Her parents sound horrible people, who sent her to the APEX Academy hoping she’d be killed.Excited to see the secrets of Nicos parentage and what lies within the tunnels. A great read.

I absolutely loved this and cannot Wait for let us preyDD is a shifter who finally shifted into something that even she didn't expect.I can't wait to read.more about the professors especially bashRoll I release day can't wait because this looks like a great start for a fun series

This was a good read, it had some heartbreaking moments where you just felt for the FMC. I did think it was pretty predictable what was going to happen however I still enjoyed it and cannot wait to read the next book.

This prequel is very enjoyable intro in to what seems like an interesting new series. Cant wait to see how 'DD' changes and learn more about the various preds introduced in to this
