USB Computer Speaker

Prior to having this speaker, I would always need to connect my AitPods to my PC to get sound as I got rid of my old large external speaker/sub combo because I didn't need it. I started using a screen reader due to bad eyesight and it just became a pain to re-connect my headset each time I used my PC and then reconnect it to my phone when done.I plugged this little guy in and sat it right on top of my tower and it works as well as I'd expect for the size and price. It sounds about as good as a 2nd gen echo dot which is more than good enough for the screen reader.While I wouldn't use this for music or anything requiring good sound quality, I do recommend it for anyone who just needs to hear the minimal sound and doesn't already have a speaker. Setup was easy and the buttons work as expected. The sound is a little muddier than I'd like but that is likely only because the sound coming out of my work laptop is different. If I only used this speaker, it would not be as noticeable.

This tiny thing surprised me. It's very simple, it doesn't have an aux port, just a USB connection to the pc. Simple volume down button on the left, mute button on the centre and volume up button on the right.It is the size of one of those large onions or you can compare it to the size of a softball. I am very pleased with the performance. It has surprisingly pretty good bass, and it can get pretty loud. Of course, is designed to be next to you and your pc, so if you think you can blast music for a party or while you do the dishes in the other room, then get something more expensive, like a BOSE or at least a JBL, but for me, since it sits between my two monitors, it does exactly what I needed it to do, to provide good sounding music while I work and good sound quality for audio books and watching videos. I also appreciate the fact that is only one speaker, pretty well balanced and only one cord to the USB port so no messy three cables in the back of it.

Its a nice speaker. You get good volume and fair sound quality for the price. If you are expecting to blow out your neighbors windows or listen to a classical jazz record with unparalleled sound reproduction, you're out of luck. Of course if you wanted that, you shouldn't have purchased a mono speaker under $20.For what this speaker is and for what the speaker costs, the sound is good, clear, and the volume is good as well. You cant go wrong.My only issue with the speaker is, I thought it would be smaller. I was expecting something smaller than a tennis ball, but this speaker is the size of a large softball. Much bigger than I thought it would be.It still fits where I wanted it and its still small enough to be inconspicuous, but it is larger than I expected. I think its because I got used to how Amazon products like to make items look massive in the sales pics, but when you get it the item is always tiny. So I think I was expecting the same thing here and it was the actual size portrayed on the page. Silly, but there it is.So in short, buy this, you wont go wrong for the price

I needed a speaker to play basic computer sounds like alerts plus voice for things like Zoom calls. This does the job very well on my Mac Mini. The small size and being a single speaker is another plus for minimizing clutter on my relatively small desk.I have Sonos speakers for music and TV sound, but they're not designed to work as computer speakers. This is not the speaker for people who want deep bass and room-filling sound. No one should expect all that at this very low pricepoint. However, it's perfect for what I needed.One star removed on sound quality because there's a split second of crackling noise when the Mac starts up. But this is more likely an issue with macOS itself than with the speaker.

this is a great little speaker, it takes up very little space on the desk, it will practically boot right up when you plug it in ( with a little help from a computer savey person) Clarity is excellent and there is no background hiss. So much better than the speakers on my expensive lap top which was one reason l got the one l have now. The price is very good value for the speaker, totally satisfied.

I wrote a glowing review for this little speaker I received one month and 8 days ago. 8 days over the return date. I LOVED it. good strong sound, it filled my apartment. Then, when I would bump or move my laptop it would stutter then go off. I had to keep wiggling it. I tried taping it down, wrapped a piece of tape around the USB to snug the fit but eventually, it is forever silent. 38 days. JEEZ!I really liked it but I don't know if it is just a glitch in this one unit or if it is just a dog design. If seller wants to send me a replacement at NC to give it another go, I would definitely change my stars. (If it works to at LEAST 2 months.

The speakers on my laptop are really weak. My monitors also have built-in speakers but they are rear mounted. That caused muffled sounds on conference calls. So I gave this speaker a try. I plugged it into an open usb port on my docking station and it was ready to go in seconds. The sound is very natural and allows me to hear clearly without cranking the volume. I like the volume buttons on the device itself for quick adjustments. It’s very compact and nestles under my monitors without taking up valuable desktop space. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my home office. I was looking to get larger monitors. Since I already had this speaker, I didn’t bother looking for monitors with built in speakers and that allowed me to save quite a bit of money.

The speaker worked and sounded great out of the package. Perfect size while I worked on my laptop. One month later; it died. No sound. Nothing. Just missed the window to return for a refund. Really disappointing.Update (9-8-22): I received a pleasant surprise. The seller sent me a message about my experience with their product. I appreciate their effort to resolve the matter to my pleasing. I like the speaker, so I just asked for a replacement. It’s been received and it’s up and running.
