This was definitely a good read I couldn’t wait to get to the juicy stuff I enjoyed reading every book I’ve read so far

Trent Aldridge and PaytonIt was engagingly good story. However, these are the things I didn't like:SPOILERS1. I really did dispose this anti hero and his torture of her life. I wanted to choke him out. He wasn't physically abusive in any way. Trent was just cruel in his disregard for her lifestyle. Blaming an innocent2. Many people overuse the virgin aspect. This one which needed it ignored it. Payton, was homeless, head in the books, slept in a car with her sister and she had one friend who was social who gave her the scoop. So who did she loose her hymen to? It was never disclosed With all the accusations of her sleeping with Trent's dad, the virgin aspect would have added so much weight and value to this story. Now I am wondering as should Trent if she did indeed sleep with him. JS!3. Lastly, the end when she gave the money away. Really chick, so now you just going to live off of Trent?❓ Immature and reckless. Build your future and instead of a one time gift of 2 million, maybe you can invest in your own life, fortune and give 2 million a year to maybe homeless woman like your character was. Immature not a noble move.I typically try to put what I like and didn't but those three things are why I couldn't give it a higher rating, even though I feel that many, if not most people will enjoy this read.I took an entire star away when she recklessly gave away her inheritance. Girl bye! I hate fools and these authors love to create mindless characters, who need to be smacked into.reality. If they were in reality that is☺️

She is inheriting money after the death of a father figure. This inheritance causes issue with his biological son. Heroine as a toxic sister, no parents, one friend.Hero is in charge of heroine's inheritance until she becomes of age. He is ANGRY at his father and torments heroine and basically destroys her life. He moves her in with him to further the control he has over her.I liked the book until it was a quick 180 from hate/bullying to love for each other. It felt forced and rushed almost. To the point it was unbelievable for the characters. That ruined it greatly for me.Hospital moment, heroine is hurt.HEA (no pregnancy)Trigger Warnings: details of torture shared

All I can say is Wow what an amazing story. Truly beautiful please please start from the beginning and read all the stories from Ava they are awesome. Thank you Ava for sharing these stories for me to enjoy. I've always loved to read but more so since I've gotten up in my seventies. There isn't a lot to do an enjoy as you get older. So I just want to say thank you, now I'm going to see how many more of your books I can read. 😊

I don't know if either are so easily attainable, because they both leave a mark on you. The real question this story pushes is can you ever get over the personal guilt one carries for not being or doing enough for the people we love. Interesting, right? Ava has a way of drawing out a story and stretching each point until it snaps. While she does this, she also creates characters that are not one dimensional. They are complicated just like us. This book is a very slow burn, but the spice isn't the driving factor. It's the emotional connection between the two main characters, the love of family and the ride or die friends that stand by your side. You can read the blurb/synopsis to know what the story is about. I'm here to tell you why I think you should read this story, all the above. Plus, I love a story that makes me think about the characters as if they are real. Enjoy.

I have been searching for a book that makes my heart happy!! A love story so sweet💞! I found it.

I read this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. Both main characters were well developed. Totally enjoyed the way the story unfolds with twist, suspense and romance. I highly recommend this book.

3.5 STARSHmmm…, this book is kind of a mix for me. I love Harrison’s books, but this one had a bit of a very slow start. For me I wanted to see how Ronnie/Ronald the hero’s father, was different with Payton, not just him paying for stuff in her life, but actual plot points. I was told he was different but it was never on page. I needed to understand the contrast compared to how he was portrayed in the previous books in the series. The male romantic hero was good, but their wasn’t much chemistry until the end of the book between the two main characters. In fact their interaction was limited in the first half of the book. The second half of the book is what saved the story. There were also some continuity errors and this resulted in me not being able to give the book a full four stars.The audiobook narrators were absolutely fantastic, they truly made this listen memorable.

Well written romance with good characters and dialogue. Definitely entertaining and worth a look, I kind of felt sorry for Erin whose life has changed overnight from being a child into a parent, doing everything she could to survive.The premise of the story is revenge and the target an innocent girl who had no way or knowledge of why she became the target of so much hatred. Three quarters of the book is the dynamic between the girl and her benefactors son. The cruelty and abatement faces and battled on a daily basis.The last quarter is the understanding and reasons of what occurs.I liked it, a total hea. Cracking romance.

Payton and Erin had hard times before they met Ronald Aldridge. He left his wife and children to be with Erin and treated Payton like a daughter. Fourteen years later he does in prison and the bulk of his money is left to Payton but until she is 22 Trent is trustee for the money. The games begin. A suspense romance that draws you in and keeps your attention.

Trent really is a douche canoe! What he put Payton through 😤😤 but Payton is feisty enough to fight back. This was an eye opener for them both.Enjoyable read 🥰

Another sensational story by the wonderfully talented Ava Harrison!!! Trent and Peyton’s story is engaging, alluring and outstanding. Captivating compelling characters with a awesome and tantalizing storyline. A page-turner that will consume you.A definite MUST read. Congratulations Ava👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Loved this, and Tent is Goals! And the wit between Trent and Payton was everything. The next question is..will we get Lorenzo’s story?
