Hey! I have used this for years all tent camping and half the time on primative sites. It's wonderful! I carry ground coffee with me and boil water over the fire or on a jet boil and I always use creamer. haha I just add it after I press. Pour boiling water over coffee, let it sit a couple of minutes and stir then press, then add creamer.

Q: does water get cold during 3 minute brewing?

Thanks for your inquiry. No, the water remains hot for quite some time! You do also have the option of covering the Presse with the silicone lid while it is brewing.
