Highest standards
This product is of excellent quality and produces a finish that is impressive for its beauty. I did not assess the durability as I just completed the project. It dries quickly and ready to sand and repaint within two hoirs. Water soluble, the brush is easy to clean.

Just the best
I found this stuff on a review from This Old House saying it is, in their opinion, the best. I still have a gallon of the second best and it's not that good. I really like the way this product is so easy to apply (I use a paint-roller instead of a brush as the brushes have seemed to leave waves that don't disappear as it dries). As this product dries and sets up, it smooths out nicely. I used the quart size as I was repairing a 2 square foot area of real oak flooring and wanted to find a good product. The second-best stuff didn't work for me so I sanded it off and applied the General Finishes product to great success. It's pricey but should last for many years. I think it's worth ever cent.

Product arrived unusable due to apparent spoilage
Product arrived unusable due to apparent spoilage When I opened the can, there was a thick, coagulated film on the surface. After stirring thoroughly, the product did not return to a smooth consistency—instead it remained very viscous, with a texture similar to cream of wheat and visible lumps throughout. The material was so thick that it resisted stirring and even caused the can to rotate while mixing. The lumps did not break down with extended stirring, indicating the finish had partially cured or degraded in the container. Based on its condition, the product was clearly not usable for application and had to be discarded.

better than wax
I bought because a referral on Etsy. I chalk painted some bedroom furniture and in the past I used wax. I went by the recommend to use this and it was way better than wax. It gives the furniture a professional look.

High price but high quality
I am finishing my mid-century dining room table and tried several polyurethane products from Lowes. They were thick and showed brush marks. I decided to do the last coat with this more expensive product and I’m so glad I did! No brush strokes, beautiful semi-gloss finish, easy to work with, looks spectacular! If you have something of value, don’t pinch pennies- buy this good stuff!
