Grohe 46875NC0 Pull Out Spray Head

Ours broke, so we bought this to replace it. High quality. Perfect fit.

We ordered this spray head to replace the same Grohe spray head that broke after about two years of use. We received this product in June 2019 and it’s June 2020 and it’s breaking already. It will no longer stay in the regular stream mode. It will either leak or it’ll spray and stream at the same time. We have avoided using the spray feature with this replacement but it’s still breaking without any extra wear and tear. I’m very frustrated that we’re having this problem again.

Have had our Grohe faucet for a long time. Finally, the nozzle spray function quit working. I ordered this new one from the Grohe Store. The plumbing supply recommended Amazon because most stores don't stock it. The plumber also told me to be specific because Amazon often screws up the finish and part codes. I had the exact part and finish code for a satin finish. However, I received a bright chrome finish. I'm keeping it because I don't want to wait any longer for another one. It's an old faucet anyway.

Prior spray head had a rubber covered plastic button, that would only stay in spray mode while button was pressed. With the old one, the rubber wore down and broke over time. Was pleased to find that this new head has a larger metal button, and that is stays in spray mode when button is released. To get it back to the normal flow mode, turn off water, and turn water back on. Spray head is slightly longer, but is still a perfect fit.

Fixed the problem ! Replaced the sprayer!

Works well for about a year, then gets stuck in a noisy and messy half spray. Grohe tells me this is due to water hardness, which is surprising given that Portland, OR (US) has very soft water. They suggest soaking the head in distilled white vinegar to extend the life. The suggestion is not helpful, and support will not state what the expected lifetime of the product is. I am on my fourth head in about six years.

Perfect replacement

Purchased this to replace the original that was about 10 years old. The finish was failing and it was leaking at the hose connection; replaced the leaking hose too. I was not able to find a replacement head in the same finish as the original, but this one is close enough, just a little more glossy. I paid the name brand price for it, but my complaint is not so much about the cost as it is the flow restriction. I have not tested the gpm, but it is significantly less than the original and since it is fabricated plastic, I have not found a way to remove the flow restriction.

Ich bin restlos enttäuscht von Grohe. Nach nur einem halben Jahr Benutzung lässt sich der Kopf nicht mehr im Betrieb auf „Brause“ umstellen (die Umschalttaste klemmt). Die Umschalttaste ist nun auch undicht: es tropft Wasser raus. Dachte für ca. 100,- kommt wenigstens ein Original-Grohe-Ersatzteil. Grundsätzlich ist der Grohe/Axor-Kundendienst zwar sehr engagiert und tauscht Teile auf Garantie problemlos aus. Aber in dem Fall ist es mir nun einfach zu umständlich. Wegschmeißen ist die einzige Alternative.

This item began failing less than a year after I bought it. Took me months of looking to find the tools to open the head and fix it myself with other Grohe parts, all of which I paid for out of pocket myself. None of the parts fixed the problem, despite all the successful YouTube videos I have seen and followed. Ending up costing about $200.00 total. I paid $850.00 for the faucet alone. They should have a place where you can get the spray head fixed for free. Maybe they need to build a proper working spray head. I am not rich and buying this product was something I wanted to do to have something last forever. I absolutely hate it. I have resorted to having the hose hanging out with no spray head and a clamp and I am looking to find something that can screw on for cheap, just so that I can use my kitchen faucet again. I cannot figure out the size for it so I'm stuck with this piece of junk in my house. Help!

After several years the original attachment stopped working. It may have been possible to disassemble and repair, but I am not mechanical enough for that. This is OEM, reasonably priced, looks and works exactly as described.

A perfect fit upgrade for Ladylux café. I replaced the old faucet head having a rubber button design with that new head. The new head have a metal button. It also look better and fit perfectly on the faucet neck
