no - you have to apply with a cloth and then buff off

Is this listing for the original metal can?

Yes it is. Not the plastic one containing cream. This is the good liquid brass cleaner

Where are these metal cans from? if the answer is usa, then the next question is "how old are they?" haven't seen metal cans in ages.

Brasso changed their formula a while ago, it now comes in a flat plastic bottle. But it is NOT the same chemicals. You might be able to get the old formula and metal can from England/UK.

Is this the "original " formula Brasso ?

Yes. that is why I bought it from this seller and waited the additional time for shipping. The new jell is worthless and I will never buy it again.
