Great for theatrical lighting
I got these splitters to power theatrical lights for a program I was running, and have absolutely no complaints. They are the perfect size to stick on the end of an extension cord and provide the capability to plug 4 lights into each. They are also very durable/flexible to fit under the stage set I was working with.

Workaround for Wall Warts Hogging the Power Strip
These quadruple receptacle cords allow us to use our small uninterruptible power supply to keep our wifi, phone and network equipment running without a two additional power strips. It seems that everything these days has a wall wart of a different size or orientation, which prevents full utilization of surge suppressors or UPS units. Purchased in a 2-pack in February 2019 for $15 including shipping, the value is unbeatable.I would not use these cords for appliances, portable heaters or heavy current-draw application. They are just right for low current devices such as LED lights, electronics with "wall wart" power supplies, and perhaps a couple of computers. The electrical prongs are not copper but rather a chrome (or silver colored metal) plated metal, but the receptacles appear to have copper contacts within. Plug and receptacle dimensions are very precise and solid. The molded outer case has strain relief rings cast into the unit. The plastic of these splitters is somewhat stiff. It would not be a surprise to see them split if flexed many times, especially in a very cold climate. In my case, the cords will hang or lay in place for a long time without movement, so they should be just fine.Excellent value for price paid, and very useful for our current wall-wart world. I'm happy that I ordered four of these to battle the rise of the wall warts. They will probably last until we no longer need wired power supplies.

Works great to extend a plug-in you can't reach plus it adds plugs
I put one in my kitchen and even though I find it useful, it takes two hands to plug something in so don't expect to use in a hurry. However there's enough plugs, you could plug in a couple of things before you get started. No matter what you cannot use this to increase the wattage use of one outlet. That means you can't plug the toaster and the microwave in and use them at the same time. Basically it extends the reach if the plug is in an awkward place.

Solid Connections
Much more convenient and functionally compact than a block: firm connections and solid construction.

Great quality and no problems. I've purchased quite a few of Cable Matters products over the years and never had a problem that I can remember. Recommend
