Great Notebook!!
I really love having this bigger notebook to use for all my classes. First, I have the Livescribe Echo pen, and even though it says for the pulse, it DOES work with the Echo pen as well! yay! Same dot paper and design as your single subject notebook. It is a bit heavier/bulky compared to the single one, which is not an issue for me because it beats having to carry around 3 single subject notebooks for each one of my classes. It has a total of 300 pages front and back and is separated into 100 pages per section by the 2 pocket dividers for a total of 6 very useful pockets. The front inside cover has the standard calculator, status and settings tool, and the back inside cover has the calculator, status, settings and keyboard too. All in all, exactly as the single subject notebook but its 3 in one and smaller than carrying 3 separate notebooks. As with any notebook, it is subject to normal wear and tear, and is about as sturdy as a notebook can be. Because I carry an enormous amount of books, my notebook took a good beating, but is still intact!! :) I did manage to tear one of the pocket dividers on the top because I overloaded it. The rings can be a pain if you have a lot of books; The rings on my notebook would catch and come undone on the bottom a few times, but I just bent them back into place. Overall, I highly recommend this notebook if you are taking several classes and don't want to carry individual notebooks, or if you know your going to be taking a lot of notes and want to keep it all in one notebook.

Must buy for the livescribe system
Second one I purchased in a different color because I loved the first one so much! Prefect for note taking and easy to sync up with the livescribe app and it functions like a normal notebook but actually a smart notebook! The colors are beautiful and help keep you organized!

A few tips...
The cons: 1. There is no option for pages without the 3-ring binder holes. Because of the placement of the perforations and holes, you need to have a 3 ring binder that is at LEAST 2" thick to place the notebook in a binder and not destroy the spiral bindings. Which you need to put this in some kind of protective something because... 2. The cover is REALLY flimsy. Even the back cover. The starter notebook has a great, thick, cardboard back cover that is stiff and sturdy. That's something you would expect and need in a full size notebook, especially if you are a college or high school student. Sadly, the dividers with the pockets are firmer and sturdier than the cover. HOWEVER I fixed this problem by purchasing a padfolio notebook Mead Refillable business notebook cover, business card/pen holder, black, 11x8-1/2 (06591) with cover and just using the cover for this notebook. Both the single subject and the 3 subject fit into the one I linked to this review, but you can't fold the notebook back on itself while it is in the cover. It slips in and out really easily though, so it's not a big deal (to me anyway). The Pros: 1. The pages have all the same control icons at the bottom as the starter notebook, (which apparently is a common complaint with some of the other notebooks) and it also comes with a little bookmark that has the icons on it as well. I have the Echo pen and it works just as it is supposed to work. 2. The paper is the exact same size as ordinary printer paper. If you remove it from the notebook along the perforations, you can pre-print your class lecture notes or powerpoints on the paper and then take the notes during lecture while recording, rather than hand copying everything. The printed notes will not appear on the upload in Echo desktop, but you can always add some keywords later to give your handwritten notes more context. If you write additional notes on the paper while listening to the playback on the pen, it will sync the additional notes to the audio! ALSO: If you go to the company website, the books are cheaper, but the shipping is a flat $6.95 for orders under $50. So if you order them just one or two at a time, Amazon is the way to go, but 3 or more would be cheaper from Livescribe. Also note: the notebooks are numbered and the number corresponds to a color. So blue ones are all numbered 1, reds are 2, blacks are 3, and orange is 4. You can only have one number of a size in use at a time, so you can have a blue #1 in 3-subject and a blue #1 in 1-subject in use at the same time, but not 2 of the blue #1 3-subject at the same time.

Great Notebook
This notebook is absolutely amazing! The smart pen controls are all very advanced compared to other notebooks I've used. One of my favorite things about this notebook is the bookmark of smart pen controls it came with; I use this ALL the time. Although it isn't very cheap, it is definitely worth it (at least for the more important classes). The page size is very nice because of how large they are, and the notebook itself is very durable and sturdy!

Works well, I like the bigger rings on this notebook that on the single subject, it flips easier. I also like the fact that I can use it for three subjects instead of one. Works exactly like the others

lots of pages, very thick.

Paper works as designed of course. The damn spiral spine sucks. It has sucked from the very first day. It doesn't stay together. I have used it for a week and a day and the back has fallen off. I keep trying to put it back together. It doesn't stay. I'm going to start losing writing pages soon ๐
