Healthy Origins Pycnogenol Pine Bark 100 mg, 60 Veggie Caps

I took grapeseed extract years ago and didn't really feel much, but in retrospect I was younger and mostly feeling pretty great. Now that I am more "mature," it's easier to notice when a supplement seems to have a good effect on me. I specifically tried this supplement because there is some research showing that it helps with tinnitus. A significant number of the study participants felt that their tinnitus was less loud and bothersome when taking it. Whether it actually diminishes the tinnitus or by improving hearing makes it seem less loud, is not important to me. Relief and the ability to ignore it is all I am concerned with, and this product has performed well for me. I will admit that perhaps I was poised to overcome this particular bout of bad tinnitus already, or maybe some of the other supplements I take have helped, or perhaps I had a bit of an illness and congestion which have cleared up. Let's just say that the effects are gratifying enough that I will continue to take this supplement. I also feel that anything that can help my veins stay healthy and improve my cognitive functioning, reduce inflammation, help with arthritis, etc. is worth taking. What I like about this particular form is that it is from the pinus maritime/pilaster plant (which are the specific forms which have been studied), it does NOT contain magnesium stearate, and the capsules are very small. I take a lot of supplements and would rather take a handful of tiny capsules than giant ones full of excipients along with the active ingredient. The price is very competitive and I like the 120 capsules bottles. I will continue to purchase this unless a better alternative comes along.

Every Friday, for many, many years, my feet and ankles swell like elephant feet. I read an article about a woman that used this supplement to stop feet/ankle swelling. I decided to give it a try. I got them yesterday and took 2 with dinner. Today is Friday. NO SWELLING. I swear that this has to be a miracle product. If swollen ankles and feet are your problem, give these a try. I hope that you are as happy and amazed as I am! UPDATE PLEASE NOTE: Just 2 days ago I read an article about some of the reported side effects that some people experience. Vertigo/dizziness was one of the could be side effects. I had Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) once and that was enough! I have NOT felt dizzy at all, but have made the decision to take 2 capsules after dinner closer to bed. Why? If I do have any dizziness, I am hoping it will be while I am sleeping and not when driving or at work. I will keep you posted.

I added this to my routine for antioxidant support and it’s been easy to stay consistent with. Capsules are simple to take and the formula looks clean without a lot of extra fillers. Taste: N/A capsules have no aftertaste. Energy level: Subtle wellness support, not a stimulant. Side effects: None noticeable for me. Ease of use: Easy once-daily capsule. Ingredients: Straightforward, non-GMO formula. Skin improvement: Slight improvement in skin texture over time.

I am someone who has a history of taking pycnogenol. I stopped taking my pycs a couple of years ago and wanted a system restart. I am looking for a pure pycnogenol harvested from French Maritime Pine Bark. It is a superior antioxidant for me, and I responded well to 100mg capsules. I noticed that Healthy Origin caps contained 100mg of pycnogenol from the French Maritime pine, and I wanted to try these. I was concerned when I opened the bottle of half-full tiny capsules. These capsules did not appear to me to contain the100mg of French Maritime Pine pycnogenol that I was used to getting. To date, I have not experienced the positive effects of this wonderful antioxidant that I had, previously. The bottle is a 60-day supply so my comments may be premature. I will share more toward the end of 60 days. It is the end of my sixty-day supply and I stand by my previous statement. I did NOT experience the positive effects of Pycnogenol by Healthy Origins. In fact, I had no response at all.

Fabulous product—#1 in strength, quality, purity & price in my book. This was the second, & far superior, brand of 100mg Pycnogenol I tried (Viva Naturals was the 1st...I have no idea why it has a better rating than this one!). I love the fact that Healthy Origins doesn’t use any evil extraneous binders, fillers, additives or byproducts. Pycnogenol caught my attention because of all the positive, scientific research supporting its antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties. I was particularly interested in reducing pain/inflammation in my neck (I’ve had extensive surgery in that area), & it’s skin health/rejuvenation potential. I HAVE noticed marked improvement in both. This is legit stuff—it’s the same tree/product/process (standardized 65-75%) & strength—note the French Flag 🇫🇷 symbol on the label—as used in all the studies, with none of the crap you DONT WANT in a supplement that is suppose to support & promote antioxidant activity in our bodies! I don’t understand why this product doesn’t have 5***** across the board already. Seriously! Keep it up, Healthy Origins, you’re showing there’s no reason something can’t be awesome for you & be fairly priced as well.

Bin mit diesem Produkt sehr zufrieden. Hochdosiert mit 100mg und dazu bisschen preiswerter als andere Produkte. Beschäftigt man sich intersiver mit Pycnogenol und diverser Studien dazu, kann es den Anschein vermitteln das Produkt wäre der "heilige Gral der Medizin". Vielseitig gegen Krankeiten und zur Prävention einsetzbar, keine Nebenwirkungen und das Produkt wird seit Jahrzehnten intensiv und erfolgreich erforscht. Ich nehme täglich 150mg zu mir, mit dieser 100mg Kapsel brauche ich nicht mehr so viele Kapseln zu mir nehmen, denn die meisten sind niedrig dosiert. Ich lobe dieses Produkt deshalb, weil ich seit 2 Jahren täglich Pycgogenol zu mir nehme (vorrangig zur Prävention) und gesundheitlich mit 53 Jahren es mir bestens geht. Blutwerte, Cholesterin, Blutzuckerwerte, Urinwerte usw. alles im Topbereich, was ich auch Pycnogenol zuschreibe. Update 01/2021: 5 Jahre später. In diesen 5 Jahren nahm ich weiterhin täglich 150 mg Pycnogenol zu mir. Mittlerweile bin ich 58 Jahre alt geworden. Gesundheitlich habe ich weiterhin nichts außer gelegentlich Juckreiz durch Mückenstiche im Sommer. Pycnogenol ist und bleibt für mich das "Goldprodukt" in Bezug auf Gesundheit.
