Very wise purchase
You can never be too prepared for emergencies, but you certainly can be under prepared. This comes with everything you need for most situations, and there's extra room to add more as you go. The bag is wonderfully made, and iove that it also has reflectors, so it's easy to locate at night time. Why spend 100 plus for a smaller first aid kit in a plastic container, when you can have a bag with straps, full of everything you need, for just a bit more? It's worth the investment!

Glad I ordered this
I ordered this after we had a very close call on the homestead. We narrowly avoided a deadly accident and because we live so remote I realized our first aid products were lacking. While this kit didn’t contain everything I was wanting, it has 85%. The bag has plenty of room for additional items so you have room to customize your kit for your needs. There is a nice amount of compartments that help sort things in an organized fashion. I added some quick clot, sutures, a tourniquet, and an additional assortment of bandages and OTC products. Plus a few other things. We spend a lot of time running chainsaws, chopping wood, running heavy equipment, and other tasks that can have catastrophic consequences if you have an accident. We also have a ton of powerful predators on the land that could cause serious injury. Plus we live 35 miles from the nearest emergency response center and hospital. Having this could mean the difference between life and death literally. I have had to pull fishhooks out of people, superglue a few wounds, stabilize joint injuries for transport to urgent care, and a ton of fairly minor things in the recent past. It makes me feel better knowing I have a good base for dealing with the basics. I also take it along when we travel. It’s a 2 hour drive to get groceries, one way, so we spend a lot of time on the road. It’s reassuring to know that if needed I could at least provide basic first aid for someone in need and that someone who has actual medical experience but insufficient medical supplies could really make a difference with the combination of their skills and our first aid kit. Everyone should have a decent first aid kit for those unexpected injuries. I think something like this would make an amazing graduation or wedding gift for someone who is just getting started and probably doesn’t have the disposable income to get setup with a good kit. Way more important than that cute serving dish or set of candlesticks that you were thinking of gifting :)

Honest Review From a EMS Professional
As a EMS professional this was a very well put together basic kit for a BLS style bag. I have since added other items for more trauma based scenario's. This makes for a good bag to keep in your car and great gift for someone just getting out of EMT school. You can add what you want or take out what you do not want. The quality of the bag is about average to most others I have seen but if taken care of it will last awhile. Please note if you are not medically trained as a licensed EMT, Medic, or Nurse, ect. I would advise you to seek out a BLS first aid course so you can properly use the supplies provided. But overall a great buy whether for basic first aid needs or true trauma and medical needs I am pleased with this product.

Great kit
This kit comes well stocked for off-duty use and if you spend an extra $20-$50, this kit will have everything you need. Though this sits in the back of my trunk in case I roll up on a really bad trauma while off the clock, I feel confident that I could use this to help stabilize a patient until a bus could get to scene.

One year later and still use it!
I ordered this with my FSA card as it was coming to a new year and we don’t have roll overs. So I got two! (One red one black) the black one stays home and the red one stays in the trunk. I have used the black one a thousand times over from bee stings to burns in the kitchen! The red one I have thankfully only had to use once when I came across an accident (I’m in the medical field) which the EMTs appreciated greatly. I would 200% recommend purchasing one to have around! Only downfall is i dont know where to purchase things for restocking!
