DEWALT TSTAK Tool Organizer, Small Parts and Screw Organizer Tool Box with Removable Compartments, (DWST17805)

I bought the DEWALT TSTAK Tool Organizer (small parts and screw organizer) to keep fasteners, screws, and small hardware organized, and it has proven to be a very practical and well-made solution. The overall quality is good — the plastic feels sturdy, the clear impact-resistant lid provides excellent visibility of the contents, and the metal hinges and latches operate smoothly and securely. The removable compartments make it easy to customize the layout for different sizes of screws, nuts, washers, and other small parts. Once the cups are in place the lid locks everything down so nothing shifts or mixes during transport. Side stacking latches allow it to connect with other TSTAK units, which is convenient if you already use the system or plan to expand later. The built-in handle is comfortable and the unit feels balanced when carried. For the price, this organizer delivers strong value. It is more durable and better designed than many generic plastic organizers while remaining affordable. After regular use it continues to hold up well and keeps everything neat and accessible. Recommended for anyone looking for a practical, good-quality small-parts organizer that doesn’t cost a fortune.

I use these (yeah, I have multiples!) to store retro gaming consoles, retro computers, and some rPI-400's with the associated peripherals. The case is perfect to put some closed cell foam into and forming custom packaging that you can see into. It is not moisture tight, but I put 1 standard unit of desiccant in each box as condensation kills old electronics. (I store in temperature/humidity controlled spaces too, but better safe than sorry as I don't nitrogen purge/etc...). Since the controllers/peripherals don't usually fit into this box with the console, I pair it with a DWST17806 for larger setups, a DWST17807 for medium, and a second one of these if it'll fit--again, using the closed cell foam and plastic anti-static bags (not necessarily ESD) to keep things from getting more scratches or destroying other things if their cables go to sludge. The extra height of the '07/06 boxes is often required for odd shaped controllers or larger peripherals. I find these are the perfect size and they stack great or go on shelves. There are other options for the tstak series too, like roll around/etc...Plus, you can use them as a stool/seat if needed too. I don't have much use for the storage cups, but every now and again they are useful... especially as, similar to the pro/tough ones, you don't have to use them all at the same time. Right now, I use the cups mostly as organizers in other places... so really a great value all around. The competing setup I looked at was to use pelican cases, but they are very expensive and waste a lot of space relative to these... the pelicans were also much tougher and ship-able.... Tstak is not really ship-able--these are transportable--they'd need extra packaging to ship (and one was damaged in shipping, and that sort of makes the point) However, I don't need a ship-able solution that is waterproof... these are more space efficient and lower cost while still providing excellent performance.

great product, sturdy and does its job

I picked up the DEWALT TSTAK case (DWST17805) to put together a dedicated, grab-and-go tire change and emergency repair kit, and it works exceptionally well for the job. If you are looking to build a custom mobile service kit rather than relying on flimsy factory packaging, the TSTAK system provides a rock-solid base. Highly recommend it for custom organization.

I am a Ham Radio operator. I carry a lot of different coaxial connectors made of brass. And they are pretty heavy when having to carry them to the tower site. I needed a better way of carrying them and storing these. I have tried several different ways from wooden boxes, bags to belt pouches but could never have what I needed. Until I saw this with the size and it being 4 inches deep. I was able to put 90* elbows, N type, Barrel, PL-259's, and even had room for a couple of 1:1 and 4:1 Baluns. This box is strong enough to carry up to 44 lbs. The latch system is top notch. I even dropped this box from the tailgate of my truck and it stayed latches and without even a scratch. They make this item with the working man in mind. I am thinking about another on just to carry my soldering iron and coax tools in. THANKS DEWALT for such a nice box.

This organizer is sturdy, well designed, and keeps all my screws, anchors, and small hardware neatly organized. The clear lid lets me see everything at a glance, and the compartments keep items from mixing together. It has made my DIY projects much more efficient. I've been installing drip (or mist) irrigation in some of our garden beds. Over time I started accumulating so many different fittings it was no longer feasible to just throw them in a bucket or box. So I bought one of these organizers for the 1/2" fittings. It worked so well for my application I bought a second one for the 1/4" fittings too. It's big enough for a lot of fittings, but not too big for storage and transport. It's light for it's strength and having removable bins is real plus. It's quite versatile, the clear lid makes finding what you need without opening it easy. I will end up buying more of these for other parts and fasteners. Overall it's a great product that's well worth the price.

Sehr guter Koffer. Optimal zum aufbewahren von Schrauben, Dübeln und anderes Kleinmaterial. Habe 2 Stück davon. Durch meine weiteren DeWalt Werkzeuge super zu transportieren, einfach dran klicken und alles dabei.

I like these. They are heavy duty, tight. Stack well. I have three for nails, screws and such.
