I have very thin and weak nails.  I get the Dip.  Will this help mine?

This formula also helps to restore the appearance of smooth, glowing nails, while combating discoloration like yellowing.

Do you have to use the base coat? The set only comes with color and top coat

The Conceal & Go Duo Set features our Original Illuminating Nail Concealer and Gel Genius Top Coat - While we do recommend using a base coat, such as our Gel Genius Base Coat (www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ9HWMH), to help polish adhere to your nails and fight against chipping, our Conceal & Go Duo Set provides you the basic essentials for a quick, clean, and flattering mani that lasts.

Our Gel Genius Top Coat helps boost the appearance of volume and vibrancy of any polish, and forms a protective barrier to help prevent chipping, fading, and breaking. And our Illuminating Nail Concealer features optical brighteners to help neutralize the appearance of discoloration such as yellowing or staining. It actually does not need a base or top coat due to the Florium Complex and botanical extracts that help strengthen and condition nails, but we included the Gel Genius Top Coat because it helps extend the longevity of the Illuminating Concealer.
