The quality of the product is good and helps kids understand the basics of toying around with models. Keeps my kid engaged for hours together and has got them interested in "being an engineer". Absolutely worth the money spent. Would prefer if they could reduce the price to make it a tad more affordable.

Best quality 💯 for all ages I love this game this is my first MECHANIX game but I will buy MECHANIX games from next time . It is the BESTTTTTTTTTTTT.

The mechanix is good everythings good but the problem was the manual doesn't have the recipe to make everything in the box it just shows the picture It's easy to make

Normally we will find a latest, advanced products / educational tools in US or chinses websites and it won't be available in India. Here it is exactly opposite. This kind of product is not available in any popular US or chinense websites but available in India. Most of the similar products available elsewhere are based on a single model. This is a generic, metal based, engineering creativity toy which uses real nuts and bolts. It is unfortunate that the manufacturer of this product is not pushing this product agressively. If marketedly properly, each and every school, robotic institutes and parents will buy this. Instead, no school or parent seems to know this superb product. I wish this company stop being super cautious and release more advanced versions like with 1000 parts which can also contain necessary parts to make functional models like gears, motors, robotics parts, springs, servo, rails and basic electronics parts or at least provisions for that. Some kids might find it hard to work with small nuts and bolts. Sometime screw driver may harm when trying to tighten the bolt nut. May come up with a screw driver design which is safer. Strips are bending when making tight connections. Quality shall be improved ( thickness ). I suggest every parents to try this toy.. will greatly enhance the kids creativity, visualization, planning, hands eye coordination and much more.

I think the set is good, but there are a few short comings. - First I do not think this is for 7 year olds as described. This clearly needs adults to help a lot. A 7 year might be too small to do anything meaningful with this by himself/herself. There is also a small chance that they might hurt themselves while handling a screw driver. - The manual has some errors and the first 2 items that we tried to make, could not be made exactly as per the manual. Some improvisation was required. For e.g. The manual only shows 1 type of screws. The set comes with 2 different sizes. There are places where the pieces don't align up correctly if you assemble them as per the manual. This is pretty frustrating because you may have spent a long time getting to that point. All in all I think it is a good idea, but the quality and instructions need to be improved. And I would recommend this for maybe 9/10 year olds.
