Great therapy tool.
Excellent tool for ACT therapists. Beautiful artwork, great descriptions, and the price was much more reasonable than comparable decks. I bought a second deck for a coworker, and my intern got jealous and bought one too!

Beautiful. Practical. Use often.
Love these and use them often for staff teams, coaching individuals and teen small groups. What sets them apart from other decks is the artwork, and the list of ways and ideas to practice that value on the back of each card.

Great therapy tool
I use this with my therapy clients and it’s been great. The suggestions on the back are neat for clients to review. My only “complaint” is that the design is a bit feminine and may not appeal to more traditional male clients. But that’s pretty obvious from the pictures!

Form Overcomes Function
I am a mental health counselor who specializes in a modality (ACT) that relies heavily on clients understanding their values. This deck serves the purpose of my values-oriented activities because it is more colorful and creative than many other values card sort decks. I've adopted the three-step method that was suggested in the enclosed booklet because it is personal, simple, and more straightforward than some other values-based activities. Most importantly, each value card has a brief text description of the value, which makes this a unique product among value card decks. This artistry makes the activity more appealing, the text description aids clients in deciding which values are their top. The author and artist, however, have produced a product where creativity has overcome purpose. For example, the location of the name of the value (large, bold text) is appears in various locations across the cards of the deck. For practical and also clinical purposes, I would recommend the name of the value to consistently appear in one location, preferably at the top. Secondly, there are two different background colors (cream and light blue) and clients are seeking patterns due to those colorings where they do not exist. A consistent background color would be ideal. Third, there is no listing in the manual of what the 73 values are, and there are no numbers (i.e. 1-73) on the back of the cards, which makes inventory challenging. One day I had a client—who I had seen a few days prior—slip her top three values cards under my office door because she mistakenly slid them into a notebook as she departed at the end of a session. I had used the deck during at least 3 different clients' sessions in the intervening time—without those three cards included for their consideration. Overall, I look forward to a second edition of this deck. The colors and art and brief definitions for every value are its strongest qualities. The revisions I suggest above would enable better clinical use and strengthen the product's versatility without impeding the deck's creativity.

I love these values cards, I’m just studying a course on ACT (acceptance commitment therapy) and they’re really useful for work with clients and they’ve been useful for me to use too. I love the images on each card to make it more inviting to use and interesting. The brief description on the front is helpful and the prompts on the back are great. There’s a helpful little instruction booklet and if you want to learn more about how to incorporate them into work with clients you can delve into ACT. The only thing I’d really add that would be really helpful would be a link to a PDF of a list of all the values along with their prompts so that it’s emailable to clients if you don’t have time to use the prompts in session but could set it as homework. Just my two pennies worth. Many thanks for creating this wonderful deck.

Excellent set of values cards. I absolutely love the images/artwork and that there is a definition on the front, and the suggestions on the back are really what makes this deck so different to others that just state a value. Cards are a lovely size and quality, the box is sturdy, I am a therapist (these are perfect for ACT but not exclusively) I have a set at work and a set for personal use at home - love these as a reflection tool/journalling prompt inspiration etc. Plus I love supporting other queer women ie the creators of this gorgeous resource! Only minor suggestion would be to include more blank cards for values not listed.
