Easy to Use and Accurate for Muzzleloading and BP Cartridge Loading
This powder measure is similar to several comparable measures from different vendors. I use it to charge black powder cartridges, for which purpose it provides excellent service. The markings on the graduated tube piston are very well marked and easy to distinguish, even for my 72-year-old eyes. The swivelling spout fits tightly and closely to the top flange of the powder measure. The measurement precision possible is around 2-3 grains of black powder, interpolating between the graduations on the piston rod. This powder measure is certainly very useful for powder charges from probably 25-30 grains up to the maximum capacity of 120 grains. This capability works very well for me in loading 0.35-30 Maynard, 0.32-40. 0.38-55, 0.45-70, 12.7 x 44R , and 0.577 Snyder.

Quality, nice shiny brass
Well made, although this is really made for rifles you can use it for pistols in a pinch, I just bought this one so I don't need to carry around two. I cut a slot in the box of my Pietta 1851 navy for it to fit in there nicely. The measure locks in place which is a nice feature so you don't have to readjust it every time you use it. I would recommend it for anyone who shoots black powder.
