Not just for kids
I originally bought this as part of a themed Christmas gift for my boyfriend as we were getting more interested in stargazing. I gave him a telescope, some more serious star guides, and added this activity book just as something fun. Funny enough, we’ve gotten a surprising amount of mileage out of it. We pull it out regularly, show it to friends, and when kids are over and we bring out the telescope, this gives them something fun to do and helps get them interested too. We even packed it for a trip to the Catskills for a stargazing event, so clearly this little book has officially become part of our astronomy supplies. It’s fun, easy to pick up and flip through, and has ended up being something we reference much more often than I expected. A great little purchase for kids, adults, or anyone who is just starting to have fun looking up at the night sky. Five stars from two grown adults who apparently needed an astronomy activity book for kids. 😂

Easy for kids to use.
This book has been great for my grands to go with their telescope. Easy to read and follow for 6 to 10 years old kids.

The Perfect Kids Guide to the Universe!
This is the perfect gift for any five to seven year old who wonders about our universe! Each page contains an engaging activity which keeps both kids and their grownups hooked. Opportunities to complete word search puzzles, dot to dots, mazes and more abound in this beautifully illustrated book. In addition to presenting content in an approachable way there is even a section on stargazing with great opportunities to put knowledge into practice outside utilizing the naked eye, binoculars and even a telescope. My seven year old daughter runs toward her Grandfather with this book in hand every Tuesday when he arrives to have tacos with us on Tuesdays. They sit together reading and contemplating the mysteries of the universe until we pull them away for dinner. How beautiful is that? It is clear that this author really understands her subject matter AND children which is a rarity. I give this book my highest recommendation!

I am not too sure all the information was covered but I didn’t even open a single page of that book.
I didn’t open and read a single page of this book because it was bought by me to send it to my Friend and his Family.
