Can you please tell me more about the games that come with the pack?

This pack includes 6 games that encourage learners to get a better understanding of the sight words and how to use them. Games include things like: Interactive Sentence, Search the Deck, Word Hunt and more.

Are flash cards water resistant?

Cards are coated with a thick, protective layer for durability that repels when in contact with water. This is a cardstock paper product so it’s not totally waterproof, but the coating helps protect the cards if they come in contact with some liquid.

I'm interested in ordering more sight words packs. Are the words based on a specific reading level or standard?

The words in our decks were curated from the Dolch and Fry lists. Many K–2 teachers assign these words for their students to study and learn because they are the most frequently occurring words in children’s texts. We offer Pre-K-3rd Grade packs.

Do these cards have a picture of the words on them?

These cards do not include pictures because research indicates that most children learn sight words better without using pictures. Although some pictures might be helpful for objects like ""dog", they are confusing for words like "was" or "because".

Can you write on the cards? I will use them for bilingual children

Yes, you can definitely write on the cards. If you only want temporary markings, dry erase markers wipe away easily due to our special coating. If you want permanent markings, Sharpie markers work great.
