It’s a practice pad, but not a good one.
Ok, but almost as loud as an actual drum. Basically a thin sheet of unfinished plywood with mouse pad rubber glued to it. I returned it.

Rubber is thin and very hard. No rebound.
The rubber is too hard. There is no rebound. It's similar to playing on a piece of plywood. This 12" pad has poor sound quality. It is very portable. The wood and rubber are durable. I have been playing practice pads and mesh-head drums for decades. This pad does not provide proper rebound for practice.
