Big Brass Bed started in 2002 as a Bob Dylan tribute band at the Bamboo Room in Lake Worth, and now performs more than 50 Dylan songs, as well as MacDonald's originals and some artfully selected rock and roll and blues classics. Lead singer Rod MacDonald and lead guitarist John Smotherman have each been named among the 'Ten Magnificent Musicians of Palm Beach County' by the Palm Beach Post, and with drummer Bill Meredith and bassist Randy Ward, Big Brass Bed has a solid lineup of veteran players. Big Tent is their third album.
