Transformers Gen Selects Leader Toy Galvatron, F1809

This and the Kingdom version are the ultimate versions of Galvatron ever. They are so good that they have not left my work desk. I love to look at them, pose them and photograph them. What's good about Selects Galvatron: - It looks like it jumped straight out of the comics. A beautiful looking powerful and imposing looking figure. - It feel expensive. It is reassuringly heavy and the plastics are of the finest quality. - The shoulders on Selects Galvatron are in the correct high position and not the incorrect lower position found on 99% of the European versions of Kingdom Galvatron. Downsides - None really I strongly recommend this figure to Transformers fans and to those that like quality toys. I will buy additional copies of Selects and Kingdom Galvatron as I am bound to wear my current copies out.

Good figure, good transformation, looks good in the classic grey scheme. So tiny though, closer to Voyager size.

My review has three pictures, the first is a genuine Generation 1 1987 Galvatron, this is pictured so as to provide reference for what the modern version is representing The second photo is the modern figure fresh out the box minus stickers and, finally, pictured with the stickers added. Me being me, I start with one version of a character then I have to get the others. This is another version of the WFC Galvatron and is meant to represent the original Generation 1 figure (1st photo). It does this well, the designers have done a great job here, making this guy look like his original toy / comic self. The figure comes with foil stickers that represent the stickers on the Generation 1 figure. I applied them all except the silver ones on the helmet horns, although G1 accurate they just didn't work here. The figure itself is identical to the original Kingdom and recent Legacy figure so no differences in transformation. This is simply a collectable for us older collectors who have or had a G1 figure. Still, it's very nice.

great version of galvatron using the g1 toy colours. the included stickers can complete that look but i recommend against using them all. they arent the best and are quite flimsy. a select few will make it pop quite nicely

Phenomenal Galvatron. I gotta say, this figure is just flawless. It looks like Galvatron, feels like Unicron trilogy Megatron, and has a good size and great plastic quality too.

This figure is a repaint of the recently released Galvatron figure from the Kingdom line of Transformers. While the Kingdom Galvatron is painted to more accurately represent the Galvatron seen in the cartoon, this Generations Selects version is painted to more closely match the original 1986 action figure. I personally don't usually go for the "toy accurate" repaints of figures, though I made an exception in this case. When my brother received the original Galvatron figure for Christmas in 1986 we had a lot of fun with that toy, and to have a modern update of that figure was a must for me. A fun figure!

Muy buen material, la figura está muy bien detallada, buen tamaño, tiene varias calcomanias o pegatinas para decorarlo, sugiero sean pegados por un adulto ya que están pequeñas y cuesta trabajo acomodarlas para que se vean bien en la figura.

Si viviste los cómics ochenteros..que puedo decir??..es Galvatron!!

The Gen Selects Galvatron I consider to be the better version of the mold with the Kingdom one having manufacturing issues in the shoulder and loose pegs that caused a weak connection with the giant cannon making it a floppy mess. This figure fixed the issues and gives the option of decently well done stickers that seem to be much better than the ones used during the Power of the Primes toyline. This guy is an easy pick up for anyone if they want a good figure that is fun and worth the entry price.
