I like these because they are an acceptable price. The brand name ones are expensive. The little red tips will come off immediately, so just hot glue them on if you're working with children. The kids I work with are very young, so I actually shortened the sticks. They are a little lighter than the brand name, but for the price difference that is okay with me. The kids love the rainbow appearance and enjoy playing the various instruments with them. They're not intended for use with toys xylophones. All in all, they are a good imitation of the original. I would buy them again.

These are way cooler looking than the regular wood sticks, and the sound is not nearly as deafening. My 4 year old rock star likes to jam hard on all of her instruments so when it's time for her drum solo in the house, these make for a much bearable that won't bother in comparison. Even the echo and distance the sound seems to travel is softened. Furthermore the set allows for two drummers at once!

These were purchased to replace the original drumsticks for a small child's electronic drum after the dog chewed those. They are just right and work well. Also glad they came in a package of four since the dog is still around.

My toddler thinks he's Buddy Rich but my ears disagree. However, with these drumsticks, I can't hear him practice his skills. The rubber protects my ears, my belongings and my sanity while he becomes the next Neil Peart. Get these.

I received what I ordered in a timely fashion.

I bought these to use with a metal xylophone toy I bought from a thrift shop that had no mallets. The rubber tops on these mallets did not work with it. Did not produce any musical sound. Disappointed. Donated them to a thrift shop.

My Seven year old loved them and I wasn’t worried about her putting a hole in her drum set.

These are smaller than the drumsticks that come with kids drum sets so they're not a good replacement
