His Princess: Love Letters from Your King

I ordered "Love Letters from Your King" after reading another book by Sheri Rose Shepherd entitled "Someday My Prince Will Come." I learned about these books after hearing her speak on the Focus on the Family radio broadcast this past summer (a replay of a previous speaking engagement). She has an amazing personal story of redemption and is an incredible speaker. Not only is she honest about how God has used her past and present struggles to draw her closer to Him, but she is also hilarious! She is NOT a "Barbie with a Bible" (in other words, she does not pretend that she has it all together and doesn't give formulas like "10 Easy steps to Becoming the Proverbs 31 Woman"). She acknowledges that we WILL have serious struggles in life; however, God will walk with us in the midst of it, make us more like Christ, use it for His good and draw us closer to him - IF we allow it. Both books (as well as the CD from Focus) are powerful reminders of God's unfailing love - that, in contrast to those who have not loved us well, HE loves us with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3)regardless of our past or present failures. The Spirit has spoken to me in amazing ways through each of these resources. Both books are short and easy to read that are meant to be absorbed over time as opposed to reading them from cover to cover. I read 3 or 4 pages of "Someday My Prince Will Come" at a time here and there as I settled in for bed in the evening. I am currently reading one letter from this book each morning and it has been a great way to start the day filled with God's truth. These letters are truly God breathed. I suspect that I will read them again and again in the coming years to remind me of the truth I so easily forget. Both books would make a great gift for women in your life who need to be encouraged and reminded of God's faithfulness(including yourself)!

I loved His Princess:Love letters from your King!!! While it is not a substitute for the Bible. It made my heart swell until it literally felt like it would pop out of my chest and several times brought tears of joy to my eyes! As I read this book I found myself rejoicing yet again in the knowledge that God loves me reverently and unendingly and I am His Princess. This book moved me beyond words and will continue to be a blessing in my life,it is perfect to read on those days when you don't feel content with who you are or feel you can't do anything right,we have all been there and I believe this book truly has the power to brighten the rainiest, gloomiest days. And all because it reminds you of the truth that you are God's precious beloved daughter and you are valued far more in his sight than you could ever comprehend. I eagerly look forward to reading the sequel His Princess Bride.This book is perfect for women of all ages,I recommend it to anyone, It would make a perfect Birthday,Graduation,Wedding,Anniversary etc. Gift for all the amazing women in your life. So what are you waiting for read this and immerse yourself in the truth, that you are His Princess. And your King will always love you unconditionally.

I have never written a review for a product or purchase online. After only reading the first 15 pages of this book, I had to write this review. This book is absolutely wonderful. The book is inspirational, uplifting, and heartwarming. The author makes the reader feel that the book was crafted just for him/her. This book is perfect for quiet time reading or early morning pick-me-uppers. This book really gets to your heart and makes you remember just how special you are to God. In the world today, so many people try to shape us into what society feels is "right" "beautiful" and "perfect". But really, the only one you need to be perfect for is your Lord and Savior. This book reminds me to stop fretting about the little things in life because God will always be there to lift up my spirit and embrace me with loving, wide-open arms!! I feel so empowered after reading part of this book, I can't wait to finish the book. I want to walk forever in the light of God and tell people of his glory, mercy, and grace. SO, now I will finish the rest of the book. EVERYONE SHOULD BUY THIS BOOK!!!

I absolutely love this book!!!! Simple letters written like that are coming straight from God written just for you. I look forward each day to my next letter.

Just imagine your heavenly Father talking directly to you! That's what this book does. It gives you a picture of just how much God loves us and values us. I've always loved writing and receiving letters because you share yourself, your heart. That's how I felt every single day that I read a love letter from my King, my heavenly Daddy. If you have self esteem or self image issues this book will help you to see yourself as our Father does. As you read His letters to you and bask in the love you'll begin to see yourself from a different point of view, God's viewpoint. As you meditate on the Scripture references God's Word will take root in your heart and renew your mind. This book is a blessing and I highly recommend it, especially for your girls so they can get a right perspective at an early age. It will change your life!

So my first book I bought, I kept it at work and this book is very special to me because it helps me throughout my day at work. I ran into a young lady who actually needed the book more than me and I did not want to give my book away, but God put it on my heart to give it to her so I ordered two more one for me and the third for another young lady that could use it. i’m sure if this book helps me it could help you too definitely worth the purchase.

I have purchased several copies of this book to give to friends. I truly believe the Lord anointed Sheri to write these letters. No matter what you are facing in your life there will be a special "letter" written to address the issue. Each letter is based on scripture written as if God is speaking His words over you. Each friend I have given this book to has later said how God used it to speak a word of healing and encouragement to them. The book itself is so pretty. The additional illustrations and scriptures make the book one you can pick up and read just one page and be blessed!

This devotional has helped me through many sad moments when all I wanted was to hear my Fathers voice and I open this book and I just feel Gods love and presence behind the words written in this book. Definitely happy I got this.

The book came very soon after was ordered. I like this book very much, I think we all should have one of this book, just to remind us that God love us, His love is so deep and so high, we can only accept ourselves and care about others when we know how much God love us.

A beutiful kind of book for praying and getting answers

This devotional really spotlights the precious and divine worth of a woman through a biblical lens. When you read it, you a reminded you are royalty and a princess and queen throughout; handpicked by God himself; called and chosen - the apple of God's eye. Each Love letter is short and sweet; you can literally read it in 5 seconds and is backed up by biblical scripture - which I enjoyed the most. I have literally bought about 18 of these so far as gifts for dear ones. I have given them to those who know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. It is such a blessed gift for any woman full of the light, love and truth of the LORD.
