Hi - does this box fit a Samsung one connect box ?

Yes I’ve done exactly that. I had to take the cover off the box though as I felt the one box was over heating.

can this be recessed in a solid/brick/block built wall, or is this specifically designed for stud/dry wall use?

It could be installed in a solid wall, but it will need a big hole. The power and media cabling should ideally enter the box from the rear or sides if aiming to do concealed cabling, which will be easier to do with a stud wall. The box is deep and wide enough to hold several power sockets.
