Sega Dreamcast Keyboard

Works as intended

It came in original package, which is always a good thing. it works fine, brand new as promised. its useful for typing of the dead, which i was obsessing with when i had the keyboard. i don't know how many other games use it besides a few shooting games, but it sure was great using it for typing of the dead.

I am in need of a sega dreamcast keyboard, and i cannot find one in any of your stores in canada, or on your website. i am not impressed that you, and sega, have kept this item away from the canadian users. so either get more sent to your stores in canada, or i will stop shopping at your stores! and i am also not impressed with another thing that your store has done.....

Nothing to get extremely excited about, after all, this is just a standard PC keyboard that's compatible with the Sega Dreamcast. How is it? Pretty much like any one of those bargain-basement Windows keyboards you find at CompUSA...key feedback is a little mushy and, well, there aren't very many games or DC applications that utilize it! For the few people who actually use their DC for web browsing or email (poor souls), this is worth the cost. If you're gonna use it for gaming, be advised that there are only a handful of games that use it. Typing of the Dead, Rogue Spear, Quake III, Unreal Tournament and a few others, but is it worth spending [money] for an accessory you'll only use for 5+ games on a dead gaming platform? Not really and even then you'll more than likely need the mouse which is another [price] investment! Unless you're a completist, you can get these (or the third party clones) very cheaply at [local stores]. Better yet, use your existing PC keyboard with a [price] Dreacast keyboard adapter. For what it does it's good, but consider the requirements before you spend your money.

PROS: Lets you play Typing of the Dead, the finest educational zombie shooter in the history of the genre. CONS: Cord is kinda short, so you have to sit really close to the tv when playing Typing of the Dead,t he finest educational zombie shooter in the history of the genre.

If you have Typing of the Dead or some of the FPS games on Dreamcast, this is definitely recommended. That system was way ahead of it's time.

This keyboard is great for the sega dreamcast, you may not be able to go online with it anymore but you can still play Typing of the dead.
