Organic Way Marshmallow Root Cut & Sifted - Herbal Tea (4 Oz)

It's the first time I used marshmallow root tea, not quite sure what consistency it should be when brewed. I tried room temp water overnight, and hot water, 2-3 tb per cup of water. It comes out the same consistency either way. It is not overly slimy, it has a hint of slimy texture when drinking it, nothing disturbing. Very mild herbal taste, with a faint hint of sweetness, no bitterness. The root is shredded and easy to brew fast. As far as effectiveness, I'm battling pain in stomach consistent with gastritis, and I can't tolerate most drinks including water. I'm able to drink this tea though and it makes my stomach feel better. I've been having it for about a week and along with bland diet and sleeping in a half sitting position, it is my go to for healing, I do see huge improvement.

I was surprised with aroma of this tea ! I use it for medicinal purposes and I remember having it as child as a cough remedy but it had much milder smell and taste. This tea has some hints of aromatic mountain herbs and is in shredded form instead of being in small cubic chunks . Perhaps this is black Malva instead of white one which I used to have as a child but both have the same medicinal qualities and I am happy with my purchase. Also, being in shredded form makes this tea easier to prepare. The only thing that is missing is printed label with correct Latin name of the plant as well as instructions for brewing. If you are new to this tea you should know that infusion is made in cold or lukewarm water. Plant malarial is covered with water and left to seep for couple of hours and than strained. You can drink it cold or warmed up and sweetened to taste.

This is a great product I am very satisfied with it and would recommend it to anyone.

It doesn't look like much, but I could tell it soothed my stomach. I added honey and lemon to make flavor ok. I saw someone else said it helped them with their internal cystitis pain. That was encouraging to me for future uses.

Fantastic product. Lasts a long time, I've made homemade medicinal marshmallow with it, and added it to tea mixtures for extra razzle dazzle. Excellent flavor.

This is just one ingredient of many to create an Ayurvedic shampoo for hair loss. I've used in the past and this gave me great results in a matter of a couple of months. I will continue to make this shampoo.
