Assorted Marzipan Fruit - 9 Pieces (4 oz)

Very nice candy super cute and not hard at all. I was concerned that it wouldn’t be expect because I read the reviews after purchase. I was pleasantly surprised the texture was good wasn’t too sweet and the nice almond flavor was looking for. I didn’t expect it to be so good but for an online purchase and not a shop it was great. I feel the purchase was worth it especially if I was going to a sweet shop they charge more than a $1 per piece would definitely order again.

We bought this because my 11 year old wanted context because she watched a Gilmore girls episode where they were given marizipan as a gift and they spit it out into napkins so we didn’t go into expecting to like them. These were so good the texture and flavor were perfect we ate the whole box and wished we would have gotten the bigger size.

I ordered these Bergen Marzipan fruits to give to all my friends for Christmas. They were terrible! They were too sweet, had no marzipan flavor and way too much sugar. No one could eat them. I was very embarressed. I am Danish and know how marzipan should taste. I love Amazon and they never disappoint me, until now.

Bergen Marzipan Fruits are WONDERFUL...I gave them as gifts and sampled 1 box myself! The fruit molds are artistically colored , the taste is amazing & texture is soft and chewy! The presentation box is beautifully made and wrapped so the fruits keep fresh. Excellent price, Great Quality .... Thank you Bergen for keeping this Holiday Tradition going delicioiusly.

I was expecting more of an authentic German type marzipan. It was ok! Very sweet so I was only eating one half at a time.

It was good, looked like artistic little pieces of fruit, made from marzipan. It tasted exactly as I expected, like the marzipan we cook inside our Christmas stollen every year. You kind of expect different flavors, but it's just marzipan, very beautifully decorated and painted to look like fruit in a painting. It's a little expensive, but considering the craftsmanship that goes into it, the price is fine. Some people will appreciate it, some won't, but if you don't appreciate what you see in the picture and you don't love marzipan, you can probably bet you won't like it.
