Such a fun game to play with friends. Easy to explain, accessible for experient and new players and aesthetically awesome!

We have owned Dixit for years but it never really made it off the shelf more than a few times. Stella on the other hand has been requested almost constantly. The mechanics have really been improved from the original with everyone picking cards at the same time instead of just one person trying to come up with a word. No more do you have the pressure of having to come up with a random word, or have to suffer through waiting while someone comes up with the perfect tune to hum. Having everyone involved in all phases makes it much more enjoyable for the kids and their friends to play. Out with Dixit, in with Stella!

This is one of my favorite games to play! This game has beautiful (and sometimes obscure and odd, but that's what makes it fun) pictures. It allows you to be creative while also competitive. I also really like playing it online at Board Game Arena.

A lot of fun, beautiful art, would be good for therapist

In baseline Dixit, when it's your turn you invent a clue and others submit cards that match, then guess which was yours. In Stella, there are fifteen cards laid out in front of everyone and the game gives a clue, and you all secretly note which cards you think kinda match, then measure consensus. The more you share in common with others, the better you do, but if you're the only one for too many, you're penalized. It's a more complex game than Dixit in some ways, and easier (no coming up with clues) in others. The cards have their own and new art, but are otherwise just ordinary Dixit cards; you can store them all together and use the entire collection of cards for any Dixit-family game. If you like Dixit, I suggest you try this. I'm happy I did.

I really like Dixit so when I saw there were more games that use the beautiful cards, but in a different way I had to try Stella out. The cards in this game are beautiful. Some of them are more crowded than the ones in my Dixit, but I know there are so many different Dixit card packs that they are all dependent on the artists. The pieces of the board are all very nice quality, although I fear that the puzzle-piece connector for the largest board may not last too long. Unlike in Dixit, you have to look at 15 different cards when you're picking those that match the word best. Since they're not in your hands we found our players needing to walk around the table to see the cards from different angles (or picking them up to inspect them more) while still trying to keep their board hidden. There are 5 new cards introduced each round so at least you don't have to re-inspect them all when a new word arrives. The mechanic in the rule for letting players know you are done is to pass your pen, but we didn't find that we actually did that. It lead to more confusion than just everyone stating that they were done. The game went quick and it was plenty of fun to try and match with those you're playing. The built-in balancing element adds fun, too. I give this game a 4/5. If you like Dixit and are looking for a game with a little bit more complexity, you'll enjoy this. Even with young gamers, I think they'll get the hang of the game pretty quickly.

My wife absolutely loves Dixit and other games that have the cards with crazy art. Stella features the same fun cards, with a different game. Instead of trying to find the original card based on the clue, you’re trying to match with other people using a keyword and several cards. The scoring in Dixit is a little confusing, and there’s a slightly similar confusion concept of stars falling if you picked the most cards, but you’ll get the hang of it after a couple rounds. Great game for Dixit universe lovers!

My friends liked this game a lot! Stella moves a little faster than Dixit so my friends liked it a bit more for that reason alone. It's also nice that the cards look like Dixit cards so you can use them interchangeably between the games - a great touch!

Unfortunately pens provided in the box are leaking. Shame because it is a great game and arrived quickly. But the defective pens are leaving a mess on fingers and the table . Wish I could get replacement pens as I don’t need to replace the whole game.

Buen juego para jugar con la familia.

Llegó un día antes de la fecha estimada, está casi en perfecto estado, la caja tiene uno o dos daños. Fuera de eso todo bien.

Me parece una alternativa sencilla y divertida al Dixit cuando juegas con amigos o familia que les resulta muy complicado o estresante tener que idear ellos mismos las palabras claves/pistas ya que el mismo juego te da.
