MultiScanner™ A250c Stud Finder for Wood & Metal, Enhanced Display

This stud finder is pretty cool. It will show you the center of the stud as well as the edges of the stud, it will show you metal studs, it will show you electrical wires. I never knew how much I needed a stud finder until I bought this one. I had to hang a porch swing and I was going to have to either cut holes in the ceiling of the porch to find the porch rafters / Joists or just start blindly inserting screws until I hit a stud but this pinpointed the center of the ceiling joists on the porch and allowed me to easily find the correct place to insert the eye screws. It also showed me that the original place I had planned on hanging the swing was not possible because there are live wires attached to that ceiling joist. I think it is a great value and it saved me so much time. I have used it multiple times since I purchased it

Worked as I expected for a stud finder in this price range. I could consistently find the center of the stud to less than 1/4 inch. It can easily find an electrified AC wire set an inch behind dry wall and I've used it to find light balasts embedded in the wall that were not marked to install LED ceiling lights. There is no doubt this a big step up from a cheaper sub 50 dollar stud finder

It works, but it's not always spot-on. I often have to scan the same area more than once or double-check with another tool to confirm the results. For basic tasks, it's fine-but don't expect perfect accuracy evtime. Still a decent tool overall, just be prepared to verify your findings.

The BEST stud finder I've ever findered, lol. It is very accurate no matter what mode you're using. So, enuf said...GO GETCHU ONE!!! 2👍's 🆙️

Device works but is finicky. You must scan surface slowly and finder must be tight against surface. The scan doesn't always work on the first attempt, suggest scanning your surface 3 times to verify readings. If scanning for electrical wires the surface should be scanned 3 times. Readings are inconsistent.

I bought this because I have an old plaster and lathe house and needed a scanner with deepscan. It is pretty bad for the price. It gives false positives 50% of the time. Its terrible for finding the center of the stud, the metal scan did not work for looking for the nails holding the lathe on. I ended up just knocking to hear where the studs were and did a better job than this scanner

Mediocre at best, can't really trust it so never use it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this stud finder really impressed me. As someone who’s not particularly handy, I was a bit skeptical—but this tool made wall mounting my TV and shelves a breeze. The directions were simple, and the device calibrated itself quickly.

Purchased the A250C after using my old Stanley scanner and punching holes through the plaster where it said there were studs but unfortunately missed most times so after some research decided on the Zircon - wow what a difference - easy to use and was easily able to find all the studs I needed to finish the job quickly.
