Great harness, quality and performance.
I've made up my own harnesses a long time ago. I was very suprised at the high quality of this harness, especially considering the low price. Thick stranded copper wires that took solder well, thick, tough, durable insulation that doesn't nick or melt. The orange headpiece was very tough and handled change-outs well and always stayed tight. The pins were heavily tinned for a good contact and prevent bad connections from corrosion. In my car, the two amp wires (blu & blu/wht) on the harness aren't used so I repurposed them, moving them the locations to let me tie in the steering wheel controls. It wasn't easy because of how well built this harness is. You can't go wrong with this part.

DO NOT CUT OFF YOUR VEHICLE'S OEM WIRING HARNESS
I might be the only idiot who would ever make this mistake, but I was under the impression that I was supposed to snip the factory wires, removing my vehicle's factory wiring harness, and splice the loose end of these wires onto those wires, and the clip was a standard size that would fit into any aftermarket stereo. I made my life so incredibly difficult - it took about 45 minutes just to find the pinout for my vehicle. I'm now trying to finagle connectors small enough to grab onto my factory wires, which are itty bitty at 20 gauge, and not the same size as aftermarket wires, which are somewhere in the vicinity of 14 gauge. The way this works (if you do it right) is that you splice the stripped end of the wires onto the stripped end of the same color wire on the wiring harness that comes with your new stereo, using heatshrink or push in connectors or butt connectors or whatever (you may want to pull the factory stereo first, just to make sure the new wiring harness fits into the factory wiring harness, but it should). If any colors don't match up, the wires are labeled in small print, and should be labeled on your new stereo harness as well. But for the most part they are standard. Then you carry the whole mess out to the car, and just click your vehicle's white factory harness into the new red harness, plug in the antenna, and slide in your new radio. The factory wire colors are not standardized, it doesn't matter, because the location of each wire is - the pinout is the same in most Mazdas, even though the wires are different colors. The red harness "knows" which hole is which.

Bought it for my 2010 Mazda 3 and was a very straight forward install, plugged smoothly into the OE connector, has all the wires you would need to connect to any aftermarket headunit. Be advised you would need a separate controller/adapter for steering wheel audio controls. Cruise control still works as that is a separate system altogether.
