I am extremely satisfied with its operation, excellent in cleaning and very durable. They have good material and a very efficient engine to filter water.

Wow, what a piece of junk. My Tidal 110 broke after a few years of heavy use, and I ordered this one as a temp because I could get it the next day. (I figured I could box this one up as an emergency spare after my replacement Tidal arrived.) The parts are extremely flimsy. The directions indicate it can be difficult to assemble, but for clarity it isn't because it's complicated, it's because it's poorly constructed. The center piece is hard to get in to place, and as you get one piece connected the others fall apart. To top it all off, I noticed a sheen on the bottom, and when I swiped my finger on it and inspected, it appears to be some sort of oil...thankfully I didn't put it in my tank and introduce a contaminant. I ended up tossing this trash in the garbage where it belongs. When I got my better pump a few days later I was hit by the quality comparison of sturdy and fitted parts, and I was able to just attach the inflow, add the filter media, and off to the races...what a difference. You get what you pay for...imo you're better off just biting the bullet and paying a bit more for something that works, is sturdy, and won't put your critters at risk.

I really like this thing it was good for saltwater when I tried salt water it was good for freshwater I've had power go out once in awhile and then when it comes back on it starts back up with no issue like I've had filters like this where I have to actually add a little bit more water to it so that gives the motion but this one is able to actually restore itself so it won't burn out

It works really well at filtering the water. It was making making a weird noise so I checked the filter and it was time for new ones. Flows beautifully. Easy to adjust the water flow. My fish love it. And I love hearing the water. The pump itself isnt loud, in my opion, but it also isnt silent, yet its quiet enough for me to just tune it out. If it gets the job done and helps my aquarium life thrive, it's perfect for me. Happy fish, happy plants, happy me.

It's don't work liked it supposed too 😕

I would 100% recommend it, it has a sponge on the intake which would keep your shrimp/fish safe, and a carbon filter to keep your water clear if you use tannins or black water and the best part, it sucks the top layer of protein and keeps it clean and helps aerate the water better. The flow is controllable, fair warning, flow isn't really alot once you fill it up with carbon and the sponge inside. The only part which you have to worry about is the skimmer part if any of your shrimp like to hang near the surface, I just used a piece of plastic mesh and it works like a charm.

The piping was cracked. The motor is loud and could never get any suction. The parts fit so loosely that they would slide apart in the water. Trouble shooting had a qr code, it doesn't work. The only way to contact was via email. Not a product that I would recommend and will be returning.
