Best steak sauce - can be used on steaks, with cooked veggies, scoop chips,.... Harris Teeter used to sell Peter Luger Steak sauce, and it seems it has been discontinued. That is their loss. It was always selling out!!

I ate at Peter Luger Steak House during a recent trip to New York City, and it was a special experience that lived up to all of the hype. Great food and atmosphere. It's famous for its steak sauce...which is ironic because you're really not supposed to eat steaks there sans sauce. The sauce goes, instead, on Luger's famous tomatoes and onions (which are really just overpriced sliced tomatoes and onions), bread, and whatever else you want to put it one. The sauce tastes a bit like seafood cocktail sauce in all honesty. After our return, I got a bit nostalgic for my trip to Peter Luger and ordered this sauce. It's EXACTLY what you get at the restaurant. If you've been to Peter Luger and want to re-live the experience, this is the sauce for you. It's not a traditional steak sauce, so if you order it and expect to get something like A1 or Heinz 57, you'll be mistaken.

Received the product with no ice packs included, even though it’s hot outside. Considering this sauce contains natural ingredients and no preservatives, it should be kept cool to maintain its quality and prevent spoilage.

I live this stuff but they don’t sell it at my store anymore. The bottle says to keep refrigerated but it arrived without a cool pack. I still ate it and didn’t get sick so it’s probably not an issue but just so you’re aware.
