Sounds great but needed TLC
Though I'm impressed with the overall sound quality of this mando, when I received it the volume nob's nut/washer needed to be tightened, as well as the nut around the input for the 1/4 inch cable. Fortunately, with a thin wrench, it's a quick fix.Action is high, as others have mentioned, but not so high that you can't have some fun with it right out of the box. It looks great and does everything I need tonally. There's a buzz/hum going on through the speakers when I have this mandolin plugged in. Currently trying to isolate and fix that with my luthier.I would recommend the purchase, if you don't mind doing a little work on it before a gig.
