It doesn't work
It doesn't work, pure and simple. The roller doesn't move when typing - not that it matters, because the ribbon doesn't lift to trpe the words anyway. I'd like to say "cheap rubbish", but I can't because it wasn't cheap. BAD BAD BAD

Brilliant. Bought this for my grandaughter. To show her how things were before computers. She loves it. Comes in a case. Fast delivery. Came 2 weeks before it should. I'm so pleased with it.

Very poor and didnt work.
Didnt work, couldnt return to china as so expensive, it was old and almost like a childs toy, arms were weak and tangled if you typed fast, poor ink transfer so it went in bin.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, DO NOT BUY.Looks nothing at all like the images, looks like a cheap plastic toy and not worth the money they are charging by a long shot.Had to give it 1 star as it won’t let me leave it none.Arrived damaged and impossible to return also as no return address is provided, just an out and out con - AVOID!!!

My 10 year old granddaughter wanted it for her birthday so I got it as at least not stuck on computer is not allowed phoneWas interested in old ways of communicationIt is really lovely a special gift Now disappointed after used twice cord snapped and mechanism not working

This typewriter does not work properly. The shift and shift hold keys do not lift the carriage to align with the upper case characters so it is limited to lower case only and even then the typing results are irregular. The cost of returning this is prohibitive, over £100.
