You could consider me some what new to the world of upscale shave equipment.I decided to purchase this handle because I wanted to see if a custom handle would help improve my shaving experience. Much to my surprise, there was an improvement. The weight difference and balance lessened then amount of irritation even more. I use the razor partially in the shower (when I shave my head). It shocked me that the handle is easy to hold on to while wet.The stylish look of the black and chrome handle was exactly the look I wanted. It matches perfectly with the black brush/razor stand, real marble soap bowl w/ lid, and HIM boar hair shave brush with a black & grey marbleized handle. The price is competitive compared to many other razor handles on the market. There's a lot out there at many price levels. Do some research before you purchase. I would definitely recommend this handle.

Wanted to upgrade my razor to something that would be compatible with a better blade. The price on this looked great, but you get what you pay for. This turned out to be a big disappointment. It's very flimsy and the blades won't stay attached. I have to hold a finger on it to keep it from coming off while shaving.
