Worked well and looked great but broke after 3 days.
I got it, super excited, looked great, felt great, but just after 3 days I just bent over my radio (Baofeng) and it snapped right at the base. It had sounded good prior to snapping. The telescopic end was very cool!UPDATE: Not even 24 hours after reviewing this product the company reached out, apologized for the equipment failing and offered a full refund. Additional 1 star has been added from my original review, and I plan on making future purchases from SPPQ, as they take very good care of their customers.

100% Compatible with my Baofeng UV-5R - performs VERY well.
Antenna works perfectly with my Baofeng UV-5R - impressed with its performance (range, clarity). I did find that the antenna is easily broken at the base of the retractable part (because it's so long). I have a couple of these antennas. The first one got broken while carrying it in my backpack. I will be more careful in the future (take the antenna OFF of the radio during transport)... Heads up.

Works thru city ground clutter
Pairwd with a 5W UV-82 HT unit. Only tried to hit one repeater so far, from ground level, and it worked. The repeater is 6.25miles away thru a cluttered part of a state capital city. Plan to keep trying others when I have the opportunity.

I have done minor comparison with stock rubber ducky from F8HP and this works much better.Some more thorough comparison of RX is available here: [...] (thanks to W9MDB).That indicates this antenna, beside worst portability will get you some of the best reception.

Much better than the stock antenna.
This has better gain than the stock antenna that came with my HT. It can be used retracted but it is best when fully extended of course. I easily accessed a repeater from 10 miles on 440MHz with the antenna retracted.

A Fine Antenna
The antenna works very well on my BaoFeng BF-F8HP radio. While it may be a bit fragile due to its length and rigidity it is solidly built and, with a little care. I expect it to last a long time. I've been able to hit repeaters that are at least 20 miles away with no problem.

Good quality antennas
Exactly what I needed to replace the original antennas. Can't have too many... keep a couple for backup.
