DO NOT BUY! - Sent deactivated SIM card + no voucher code - totally unusable
The SIM card provided was totally unusable - I contacted EE customer support as the SIM wasn't being recognised by my iPhone 13, they confirmed that the SIM card was an inactive one (deactivated in May 2024 according to their system). Whoever is selling these is knowingly selling unusable SIM cards. There was also no voucher code included in the package - so had no way of activating the pre-paid package even if SIM card had worked. Strongly suspect this is a SCAM listing and Amazon should remove this listing from their site. Terrible.

Good value for my purposes 🙂
Having moved house, I had to reassess our "mobile" internet access using our TP-LINK Archer MR600 V2 4G+ router and Poynting external antenna. So, I purchased a variety of service provider SIMs for testing. In our previous house, I used a Vodafone unlimited data SIM with good results (downloads of ~35mbps). Alas, at this new address, downloads were a pitiful 5mbps. Having gone through SIMs from Vodafone, EE, O2 and 3, the clear winner was O2 with consistent download speeds of 85+mpbs (4G+, 2 band connection). EE was a clear second (~50mbps) and 3 was terrible (unusable). As Tesco Mobile offered the best unlimited data plans (and they use the O2 network), that's what I chose for an 18 month contract. At £27pm, it's also £3pm cheaper than I was paying Vodafone. I was rather surprised that EE was not the best option but that will depend on location. Obviously, an LTE+ router is much more sensitive to location as it's fixed - whereas a mobile is constantly on the move. That said, this EE SIM arrived next day and would have provided more than adequate service for us. Contact rates are a tad higher than Tesco. My daughter lives on the south coast and has a similar router to us. There, EE provides a far better service than any other provider. So, for "mobile" 4G+ internet, do your testing and check out the contract deals. In many cases, these offer better service and pricing than BT "copper" internet.....

Completely misleading description - do not buy if you expect £10.00 of credit!
This SIM does not contain £10.00 of credit! When you receive this SIM, you will need to sign up with EE with a credit card, and agree to pay them another £10.00. Unless you delete your credit card details, this charge will repeat every month.

Zero pre loaded data
Bought this to use in an emergency and found zero pre loaded credit very annoying

Geht nicht. Keine Empfehlung. Es wurde eine leere SIM Karte übersandt ohne jegliches - bereits bezahltes - Guthaben.
