Great CD from the movie. I love all the songs on it and the quality is very good. Had this CD years ago after seeing the movie but it got damaged. Was so happy to be able to replace it with this one. If you need or want some of the good ole music from the '60's get this one. I love it.

I loved the movie "The Big Chill" and part of that was because of the excellent soundtrack of my life!! I am so sad it doesn't have the Stones song on it as that is my favorite and it was at the very beginning of the movie!! "You can't always get what you want"!!!! However I am loving listening to the other tunes in my car and singing along happily!! Great deal, so glad I finally bought it!! Thank you!!!

The Rolling Stones 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' never was on the Soundtrack, too bad. Rights issue I assume. The song selection is good but I grew up listening to them so I may be a bit partial to them. Fun stuff.

This is a nice collection of songs from the time period and lean away from the more classic rock type songs from the time which makes it a little different from many of the other movie soundtracks that have songs from this time period. That said, I would agree with one of the other reviewers that the inclussion of the Stones song would have made this more complete since it would have capped off the fact that listening to these songs can easily invoke scenes from the movie. That last point is why I would give this a 4 star. If you are looking for a compilation of songs from the time, there may be other, better, places to go. If you love the movie and want to put something on your radio to keep those memories flowing - this is your ticket.

That is me. I’ve been wanting to get this CD forever. I am delighted that it is exactly what I wanted, and the songs are all by the original artists. Makes me smile every time I listen 😊.

I had this same CD for many many years, it got scratched and I needed to replace it. Happy it was still available
