Effortless Restaurant-Quality Steaks
I finally added this Vpcok Direct 1000W Sous Vide Machine to the kitchen setup, and it has been such a total blast to achieve that perfect edge-to-edge medium-rare finish lately. At first, I wasn't sure if a budget-friendly circulator could compete with the high-end brands, but the accurate temperature and time control are incredibly reliable. It’s a huge plus because nobody wants to guess if their steak is done when you can lock in the exact degree for a consistent, flavorful result 🥩 The clear light ring indicator is a total game-changer—it glows red while heating, turns green when it hits the target, and blue when the cook is finished, making it a breeze to monitor your progress from across the room. The way the 360-degree water circulation works is just really smooth; it keeps the temperature uniform throughout the container so the food fibers aren't destroyed, making my life way easier when prepping delicate fish or tougher cuts like chuck roast. I was surprised by how impressively quiet the motor runs; you can barely hear it working, which puts a huge smile on my face during those long 24-hour slow cooks 🔋 It’s definitely a win for anyone who wants to dive into the world of precision cooking without a massive upfront investment. Setting it up is a total breeze with the simple digital display, and it even comes with a recipe book to help spark some new culinary ideas 🏆If you are looking for something that is easy to use and just works every single time to bring professional techniques into your own kitchen, then this is a great pickup for $59.77. It is just fun to use and levels up the juiciness and texture of every meal instantly. It’s basically like having a tiny little gourmet-chef assistant that is always down to help you out 🎈 I honestly think it’s one of the best "small-appliance" purchases I have seen in a long time because it delivers exactly the moisture-retaining power I was hoping for. Plus, the 1000-watt heating element ensures the water reaches the setting temperature quickly so you can get started right away ✨ Definitely worth checking out if you want to add some extra precision to your dinner routine. Also note that the machine is actually quite lightweight and doesn't seem to tip the container even when empty.

Accurate temp and time control. Low and slow cooking times
I took my first step into Sous Vide cooking but not in the traditional style. I used the Sous Vide machine to cook a pressed ham for sandwich meat. I was surprised how good the meat tasted. Way different from storebought. I need to experiment with times and temps, and, I need to use about 1/2 pound less in the meat press. I stuffed 2.5 lbs. into the pot and it was a little too much and the heavy spring pushed out a lot of juice. BUT, no problem for me, I just slathered on some mayo and made a great tasting sandwich.I am sold on this style of cooking and I can't wait to try new recipes. My Vpcok Sous Vide machine worked like a charm. And after I re-read the instructions a couple times I figured out the timer and temp controls. After that it was smooth sailing. One thing I did wrong...I used a pot that was too big and too tall for the cooking machine and ran out of water once. Practice makes perfect, so I better get stared. Thanks Amazon and thank you Vpcok for a nice easy to use piece of kitchenware. I will recommend the brand and that Amazon is the place to buy it.Update: I am trying to use the sous vide machine for making pressed meat in a Ham Press. The Press lid is about 7" high and finding the right pan to hang the sous vide machine on so I van make sure I have enuf water but not so much that water runs inside the press. I also did use it for cooking meat in a vacuum bag and it was easy to find a middle measurement of water. I wonder, do any one of you use the sous vide machine to cook in a meat press?

Impressively quiet, and accurate temperature maintenance
I purchased this immersion circulator as an upgrade from a more expensive model from another brand I bought in 2016, back when there were fewer options on the market. This VPCOK unit, in comparison, is much quieter, much easier to use, and significantly less expensive—an upgrade on all fronts. After about 6 months of frequent use, the unit stopped working, displaying code E1. According to the manual that indicates a faulty temperature sensor, and the directions say to email for a replacement. Multiple emails were not responded to, but a negative review left here on Amazon.com got their attention and they sent a free replacement, which is working fine so far.

Lasted 15 months. Edit: fixed!
Nice unit and it's been working great since I bought it until today. Came down to check on my lamb chops and you right away the water was too cool just by sticking my fingers in. The unit read the right temperature but there was no circulation. So that was the temperature in the pump body, not the full water bath. I have not yet contacted the vendor for support. Will post here when I do.I learned that the metal sleeve comes off with a twist in a pull and that my impeller had some hair tangled in it. Pulling off the hairs allowed the impeller to operate and now it is working. Increased rating from 3 to 5 stars as this was not a defect with the product. The fact that the sleeve comes off so easily made it easy to fix. It just took me a while to discover that the sleeve came off - had to find the manual and then read it.

Fail. Cheaply made. Ruined a nice meal.
I used a Joule for 6 years and Anova for 4 years. Our water is heavy and the machines eventually wore out from internal calcium buildup. I bought this one thanks to the excellent reviews for an inexpensive machine. I used it twice to make steak and it worked great. But tonight I set up a big cook of a pork roast, spent a lot of time shopping for spices and prepping the meat. The Vpcok threw an error of E2 and just stopped about15 minutes into a 24 hour cook. The Vpcok had not come with a manual but I was surprised to learn there's not even an online pdf manual, that you are just supposed to google to see what other people did when they had the same problem! The only thing relevant that I found online was a 24 second video from 5 years ago showing the E2 error message. That was the entire video. The only comment was, "were you able to fix this?" I tried everything I could think of but per the google AI advice it's probably a bad water sensor.I did also learn that the company is notoriously unresponsive to problems with their products. So my roast was ruined. I'm going back to reverse sear, dutch oven, and other oven techniques for now. I can't deal with another ruined meal from a cheap cooking product. Is there a decent Sous Vide out there that's not imported from a country well-known for low quality?

Works really good, easy to use. Good features
Works a lot better than I was expecting for the price. I really like that it has the ring light around it to show the status. The timer doesn't start until the temperature is reached which is perfect for me. I've already cooked some steaks with it and they turned out great. easy to clean.I cut a hole in a cheap igloo cooler from Walmart (the small $13 red and white 9 quart one) and it fits perfect. At first I was worried it would touch the bottom but it doesn't. It also works really good in a much bigger container though.
