The velcro loses it's stick
The shoe is hard bottom without a hard-sole. That's good. No slipping on a smooth floor. There is very little lateral support though. It does not keep you from putting pressure towards the ball of your foot or your on toes so it doesn't immobilize like a boot might. It did provide the minimal protection that I needed. But after a week or so, the Velcro strap at the ankle wouldn't stay attached and the shoe would slip off while I was walking. Won't buy again.
