It works great with my 2025 GMC 1500's fancy tail gate .. in it's stowed position
This really has a lot of ingenuity in it's design. It is different than the one for my 2500 with the drop down tail gate. On that one I could park the ball low. On this 1500, I needed to park the ball sideways on the bottom setting, but did not need to fold it under. The fellow who posted the pic of interference should learn how to use his hitch. It takes 20 seconds to drop out of the way. Maybe he just wanted something to complain about. When hooked to a trailer don't drop the tailgate insert. When unhitched and you want to drop the insert.... set the hitch appropriately.... no brainer

Great quality receiver for multi pro.
Love how this hitch is machined from solid stock and not welded together. I’m not a huge fan of any available receiver lock or anti rattle devices on the market. I chose to bolt mine on and tapped the back of the receiver for a 7/16 bolt. Locks are easily broken and this method takes to long to remove for a thief. The rear bolt really draws the bar down and keeps everything snug plus adds extra theft prevention.

Fits with the MultiPro tailgate
Really nice and stout looking hitch, but it does hang down a little further than I anticipated.

Does NOT work with MultiPro without hitting the tailgate as advertised. Even on the lowest drop hitch setting it hits the tailgate. Did damage to my tailgate. See the photo. Not sure why they show this as compatible for my truck.

GMC BW Hitch.
Just the hitch to save one’s shin. Item is as described. Shipment was very prompt. A little long for a Sierra 1500,So one needs to careful when transitioning over some speed bumps and steep inclines.

Works perfect with my multi pro tail gate
Great hitch and no issues with it damaging my multi pro GMC tail gate. One tip is to make sure that you have the cotter pins turned inside toward the truck so they don’t hit the tail gate

Good for GMC Multipro Tailgate
The hitch ball needs to be Sideways in the lowest position, or flipped to the back side, for the multipro tailgate to have clearance. Be sure to get a locking receiver pin, or someone will walk away with your new B&W hitch.
