OOFOS - Women's OOlala - Post Exercise Active Sport Recovery Thong Sandal

These are SO comfortable and true to size. I also love the look. I wanted them for the pool/beach and these are perfect. I have never spent this much money on sandals but I must say that they are worth it!

I love all the OOFOS recovery sandals/shoes. I have had both sandals and clogs and it’s like walking on pure cushion and great arch and all around support! They are cute. Durability is good, but I’d say they tend to stretch a bit so I’m going to downsize on the sandals bc I’m kind of between sizes. I have a wider foot, so they are great for that! The sandals are slip resistant on the bottom, but if they get wet on the foot surface, that part is slippery. I think the bottoms tend to wear a little faster than expected, but not more than Crocs.

When my plantar fasciitis flared up recently I knew I needed to do a shoe overhaul. Replaced my athletic shoes, and discovered these Oofos at Roadrunner. Fell in love and had to buy some. I ordered a pair from Amazon because Roadrunner only carried Unisex. Ordered Navy. They looked huge beneath my lily-white feet. They protruded about an inch beyond my toes. They were also a bit loose-feeling. I ordered a full size smaller:8. Got a white sole with blue pixel strap. So pretty. I ordered them from the company because I didn't want to get the older ones that might peel as some have reported. Company says that problem has been corrected. So far my shoes have not had any peeling after 2 months. The arch support is amazing. I have very high arches, and these are just what I needed. The pillow-softness is such a luxury. My feet are loving them, although I need to alternate with my new Kenkoh massage sandals often. Gradually, my pain is abating. I think my 3 pairs of new shoes are all working together to heal my feet. (I'm a size 9; my running shoes are 9 1/2, but I ordered an 8 in these. They are a bit snug on hot days, and I can't just slip in and out quickly like I do with my leather Reefs, because you stick a bit to the insole, but they are fine, and I am delighted to have found them to help get my PF under control. Not a perfect replacement for my old Masseur Massage Sandals (the best shoes ever made...which sadly are not made any more...at least not the same), but so far the best I've found. I will be buying more of these. I only wear these indoors, but I will buy a pair for outdoors with a dark sole. White does get dirty pretty easily.

This is my second pair of these sandals, very comfortable. They might fit a little bit smaller than the previous pair, but they still are OK.

A friend recommended these because they aren't flat, and offer more support for someone with plantar fasciitis. I had just developed plantar fasciitis in one foot so I took her advice and purchased a pair. They are very cushy and supportive feeling, especially since I'm used to flat flip-flops (possibly one reason I developed the foot problem in the first place). I wasn't sure about sizing. I have a semi-wide foot and I'm right on the borderline as far as size. In dress shoes, I wear a 6 wide or a 6-1/2 medium. I always buy size 7 running shoes, so I can wear thick socks with them. So, after reading reviews on size, and that the shoe runs kind of long, it sounded like I'd be happier with a 6, rather than a 7. So that's what I went with. They are just the teensiest, tiniest smidge tight, but the length is perfect. I wish they came in half sizes and wide widths, because a 6-1/2 medium or 6 wide would have been perfect. I think a 7 would have been too big. I gave them four stars instead of five because of that, plus the plastic thong part that goes over the top of your foot (the colored part, I guess it's called an upper) just feels kind of funny to me and kind of squeaks when I walk. I'm used to LL Bean flip flops, and they have a canvas upper. But I do recommend them, because the sole is very supportive and very comfortable, and overall, I'm very happy with them.

I have been wearing Oofos since 2017. They completely relieved my plantar fasciitis. I have numerous colors and have and always look forward to the warm weather when I can wear them. I can wear them all day. In fact the first time I wore them I was in San Diego at the beach and walked over 18,000 steps. highly recommend them.

I cannot thank my boss enough for recommending Oofos sandals to me...my feet are in heaven! My feet are wide, and flat. I call it "Fred Flintstone Syndrome". Trying to find shoes that a) fit correctly; and b) don't cause me to limp after a few hours is nearly impossible. I have literally spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars in the past five years trying to find footwear that I can actually wear on a day to day basis. I have tried orthopedic inserts, Dr. Scholls inserts...you name it - I've probably tried it at least once. Sandals were by far the most difficult to find, as most do not offer any support at all. This results in my feet taking a pounding and me being in excruciating pain within an hour or so. Unfortunately, it is hot and humid where I live from May to late September - my feet sweat easy - so I really do not want to wear closed shoes and have to deal with *that* particular issue. These Oofos...I'm in love. I can wear these all day, and my feet are so happy. The comfort, the arch support - phenomenal. I love the black/silver color combination - it looks very classy and goes with pretty much anything I wear. Seriously, these are more comfortable than my $200 running shoes. I can't even be barefoot anymore - when I am at home, puttering around and doing chores, I have these babies on. I put them in my work tote and slip out of my dress shoes and wear these at my desk. I simply cannot get enough of them. I will be purchasing more of these Oolala thong flip flops, in different colors. I no longer dread family outings (say, at an amusement park) because I finally have comfortable footwear to walk around in all day, without having to be the wet blanket that continually needs to sit down and "rest her feet." I wish I could give these sandals more than 5 stars. They're perfect. I am a very, very satisfied customer!
