Buy Pressure Point Fighting: A Guide to Striking Vital Points for Martial Arts and Self-Defense by Clark, Rick (ISBN: 9780804854344) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Shame - I had such high hopes - Poor explanations which the author attempts to hide behind technical jargon - seems the old adage - 'baffle them with BS' is used here Black and white pictures are grainy and not very helpful Review: Excellent analysis of East/West MA/medicine overlap and how to understand the basic concepts that are common to various martial arts. This book transcends basic “how to do it” manuals and suggests how to understand what is going on in any hand-to-hand conflict. The first 60 pages should be required reading for everyone with any interest in MA. The lists in the Appendices are rare and worth studying. Overlap in point lists is implicit testimony to the validity of the points. Be very careful if you look to verify these locations - serious damage may result. The rest of the book is good, but cannot be a substitute for real world work in the system of your choice. This is not for MA beginners or hotshots. Mature practitioners with open minds will pass it on to their children.

It’s the book I wanted - it is as expected. Very informative on the subject matter. Too much so to include here - if interested in pressure points - buy it.

Have not read thorough as I just received it. Was disappointed that pictures are black and white and not too big. Also not much pictures as I thought. Also it seems, I was disappointed a little bit after browsing through a little bit, as seem to get nothing. Looks like my other pressure point book was much better.

had this book years ago. a relatively simple tutorial that shows where to hit and grab for the most effect...if you don't first panic upon an attack! may disable an attacker and may work well or at least give you time to get away if you are attacked.
