GREAT VALUE AND QUALITY. Airfix is very good model company. These snap together models are ideal for 8 and up. My 8 year old put it together in less than 45 minutes. The snap together tank tracks took a little longer ,but they stay together. An adult will need to help adjust them a little. You can YouTube it to see how easy it is to assemble. He was super excited at his first 1/35 scale tank. I highly recommend this brand . Stay away from those block builds for this age group. The helicopter was a piece of cake to put together for my 10yr old. The tank was a little more because of the track system was a little more complicated but I help my 8yr old through it and he was very happy with outcome. Good buy on both items.

Fond memories as a kid myself over laboring over model kits, glue, paint, stickers etc. Now my son has lept into the model kit world and we have found these Airfix kits a great way to introduce him to modeling as a hobby. These kits are very well put together and the pieces fit perfectly and being that they assemble similar to Lego it was an easy fit for him. The stickers, however, are tiny and I had to jump in with a toothpick to help out. Overall though, these are fantastic and we have now purchased all available quickbuild kits that Airfix offers. My son is constantly asking if they have released any new ones yet. For the price the fun factor is off the charts good. Very recommended.

I bought all 3 of these that I could find for my grandkids (ages 5 - 8). They love sitting up at the workbench in the garage while we work on these together. The snap together pieces mean they can handle construction on their own with an occasional assist. Best part is that unlike a regular model, they nowhave a toy that can be played with once completed, and if it "breaks" they can easily put it back together. I wish they had more versions.

The Airfix Quickbuild series is perfect for beginner hobbyists. Simple, clear assembly instructions. Sections snap/fit together beautifully and remain tightly held. Decals are great - but need a delicate and steady hand to be put in place accurately. My 6 year grandson could largely put it together with minimal assistance (decals and the rotor were tricky for him). The rotors (top and tail) do not remain in position if the copter is moved around (as kids wont to). Possibly, these assemblies were a bit forcefully put in place creating a bit of play in the housings. All in all, a great finished product which is also a good display piece.

An easy but fun kit, keep in mind that the some of the parts look similar so one has to pay close attention to the overall shapes of the individual pieces, if they do not belong together they will not fit well. This is probably the most complicated of the Quick Build kits but still fairly easy. Regardless of age this can be a fun kit to build.

These are a bit easier to assemble than Revell Snaptite. It is made well and looks great. Our 8 year old had no problems assembling it.

Very easy for my 6yo. He loves these. Will keep buying

Purchased a part of birthday present for my son who loves aviation things. He had had regular airfix in past and its gets messy this is a fun clean tidy and most importantly gluess alternative with the same well similar end result
