Q: Can anyone explain why water passes through these filters faster (less effectively?) than through the much more expensive brand-name filters?

Q: I usually use the "Microtech 9000 replacement filter". Is this one (9001) will work on my filter system?

Replaces the Moen 9001. Works fine. Push and twist conection just like the moen
