Drive Medical RTL10266CF Nitro Elite CF Foldable Rollator Walker with Seat, Black

This is so much easier to use than a regular rollator. My niece gifted me with the first one while visiting in NC three years ago. I had no idea how much better this one was than my regular one. I would never have known if she had not gifted me. I ordered this second one, to keep at the top of 2 steps so i don't have to push it up my small ramp which is near two steps into the other part of my house. As my knees get worse, I want to be safer, but it worked for 3 years pushing it up the ramp even with heavy groceries on it, (that is, if they didn't fall off). I am only 5'3" but this TALL Euro style one, is so much easier for me. No bending of my back. and I can drag the leg that has a knee with bone on bone. Very comfortable to sit on, while watching my grandkids at the ball game. Probably not supposed to use it this way, but i found out if i sit, and use my legs to roll backwards, i can drag my half full Rubbermaid trash cans to the curb. I can also roll forward a short distance, I can lift it. I forget the weight, but it's only a few more pounds than my regular rollator, which hurts my back because i have to bend over so far, to drag the leg. I put my body up against the car trunk edge to support myself, fold it easily, it locks, and then take my left arm to grab it half way down on the black post, and lift that end at same time with right hand on the upper post, (which is just below the handle), into the trunk. Try it! It works easily if one can lift that much weight. The airlines broke my regular rollator when i checked it at check-in. Former baggage handler told me to always "gate-check it" otherwise the airplane damages items like this. Actually, i don't want to take it on the airplane for that reason. They often go out of stock for 6 months at a time, so i grabbed this one when i saw it online.

I wanted to leave a review in case anyone else was in doubt about spending a couple of hundred dollars on a rolling walker - especially if your health situation may be temporary, so you feel this may not be something worth investing in. I also waffled on this. But I just couldn't bear the thought of hunching over one of those cheap metal frame walkers. My health issues are such that I needed something I could use in the house as well as outside, so I bit the bullet and went for this. I can only say, this walker has made my life, and dealing with my health issues, SOOOO much easier. The handlebars are adjustable, so they can be raised high enough that even a 6' 4' person like my husband feels comfortable using it. The seat is sturdy and higher than a standard chair seat, so I use it all the time at my computer desk (brakes on, of course!) rather than strain my back and knees in a regular height chair. It rolls beautifully, is easy to negotiate through rooms and doorways, and folds quickly for storage or putting in the car. It comes with a handy little removeable mesh tote bag with zipper, too. Another reviewer complained that the bag was see-through, but you'd have to really TRY to see through this bag - not sure why that even matters, but please don't consider that one thing a deal breaker. The only issue I have, and others with low arm strength will want to know is, at 17 lbs, it isn't exactly lightweight and easy to move in and out of the car, but many of us with long-term disabilities are not hoisting our own stuff in and out of cars anyway. This is a great product and very well made. I'm glad I bought it.

I picked this out for my mom, 86 years old, who is starting to have a lot of trouble with back pain, weak legs and difficulty getting out of standard height chairs. She is a tall lady (5’8 with long legs), and this tall model is perfect for her. The first walker she had was a basic Drive rollator (much less expensive) but much lower to the ground and narrower, and she only used it once because she couldn’t easily get out of it without two people assisting her. She especially likes this Nitro tall model because the higher than normal seat makes it is easy for her to get out of. It steers very easily, and turns on a dime. She can drive it across grass and rocky paths with no difficulties, thanks to the large front tires. The color and hidden brake cables make it much more fashionable and youthful looking than traditional walkers too. It has allowed her to go places that she normally would’ve turned down going such as an apple picking place due to there being nowhere to sit down (or seats that are too low for her to get out of) . I would say that it has helped her regain mobility and independence. Worth every penny! We call it her Ferrari due to the beautiful cherry red color!! As the daughter of the user, I love how easy it is to fold and lift into the car. Not mentioned in the features listed on Amazon is a metal clip that locks the unit together for very easy storage. We went to a restaurant the other day, and it easily fit into a small area near our table in the folded position. It unfolds with great ease as well. I would highly recommend this model to persons who need it or to adult children who are worried about their parents falling/mobility.

This is the very best walker. I have purchased10 walkers in the past 15 years. It is so easy to put in my car. It is light weight. I am 84-year-old woman. It folds easy and stays folded. You can put it right by you because it does not take much room. I also put stickers on my walker, so it does not look scary to children and others.

This rollator is sturdy and easy to use. I bought the tall one because my husband is 6’5” tall. The adjustable handles are easy to adjust. It folds up easily to transport in the car and is not too heavy for me (70 year old lady) to transport and set up for him. He feels very comfortable and safe when using it. I highly recommend it. And be sure to get the tall one if your person is 6 feet tall or taller. Comes ready to use right out of the box.

My Mother-in-law, who is 90 years old, had a nasty fall, when she lost her balance. She is recovering, slowly, but surely, which is good. But, we decided to buy her this walker, mainly because it looked like it had the features that would give her confidence and stability! This excellent device did all that, and much more! Once Mom learned all the features of this walker, she uses it for every place she goes, and walks MUCH faster than she could before we got her this! It not only offers her tons of support, but having the built-in seat is a feature she uses all the time. I would recommend this excellent walker to anyone in need of such a thing. It is well made, and looks nice. We chose her the red color, and she loves it! We did see another older woman, using the exact same model, only in blue, and Mom commented that blue was a nice color, too! We are happy that she is so confident using her new RTL10266-T Nitro DLX Foldable Rollator Walker, and highly recommend it to anyone who might needs what it offers!!

This is a great walker, especially the tall model for us tall guys. I no longer have to use my walker stooped over with my back aching. The large wheels and well done mounting make it very easy to maneuver, particularly on rough surfaces. My wife and I love the way it so easily folds so flat, making it convenient to fold flat for stowage. It even fits nicely stowed vertically behind the front seats. Braking seems solid and excellent, including for "parking". I especially love the seating compared to my existing rollator with has a flat hard plastic seat cover that's just too damn slippery and precarious for my taste. I do have to say I fell in love with the offered in red. (Ferrari red?) It sure brightens me up! (Which I can really use!) The one darn "negative" is the stowage, which is located at the "back" of the seat, below the backrest. The "Drive" is a very different design from most. Cross zipper is not that easy to reach and operate; and stowage awkward to access. I guess I'm spoiled by the setup on my current rollator, where I flip up the hinged the seat to get to the stowage basket, which is completely removable with an easy-access handle. I did discover the bag releases in a couple of seconds to carry with you, but also to turn it around so the zipper is much closer. Still, I wish "Drive" or an after-market would come up with a larger accessory bag for shopping, etc to add to this otherwise great design. All in all, I love it!

WOW!! This Rollator is unbelievably fabulous! My husband tried other ones, which were incredibly hard to put together, too narrow, not tall enough, etc. This came 'good to go' right out of the box! NO assembly required period! It is lightweight, wide enough and tall enough for my 6'4" husband. It is really a lifesaver. Not to mention.... it looks pretty cool. I have no problem putting it in the trunk or getting it out. My husband feels very secure walking and sitting in it. He had been falling quite a few times, so this truly will save his life. I can not tell you enough how wonderful this Rollator is...seriously. Very satisfied and happy with this purchase!! We just bought another one for the house. We will leave one in the trunk of our car and one in the house. We got this idea from someone else's review. Thanks! Great idea...less lugging around. Again, 2nd one came ready to go and early! Awesome, large wheels which are a must, when one’s health is compromised, you need the proper equipment, this is it! It helped to overcome a health issue, where I was perfectly healthy, and within 6 days I was unable to walk. This unit was one of many things that brought me back to full health. It’s very easy to steer, go over curbs etc.

I’m 82 and was very pleased to find the walker completely assembled. Definitely sturdy and lightweight. I used it for the first time today. I had no problem putting it in my car It is pricey but feel it’s worth the cost.

Words cannot describe the difference this has made in my beloved wife's life. It is so very light and it ride is amazing, the ride is smooth no matter what the condition of the ground is. Her ability to move and lift the walker has given her a new confidence in her life and attitude. The design is truly well thought out and they have kept in mind who they were designing this item for, handicap people. Yes, I know the price is up there but my wife's happiness and her ability are very important to her and of course to me, her husband. To know that she can go shopping or to friends for visits without the struggle she had before is beyond words.
